How to Maximize your points output

a few tips on how to keep your points up without a lot of trouble.

how FriHost works:
Every day 1 point is deducted from your total amount of points, if your points are above 45 they will get 'skimmed' down to 45 and all the points that have been skimmed off will be returned as coins.
you make points by posting and as long as your points are not in the negative, you get to keep your hosting. pretty simple.

WARNING: Do NOT exploit this method because it will backfire, keep that in mind at all times!

Tip #1: Making 5 point post's
The key to writing 5 points post's is to make your post have more then just text.
You want to make a combination of text with links and code or quotes.
Making these 5 point posts will help you maximize your Points fast. every point you get is an extra day.

Tip #2: Keep your points maxed out
As stated earlier, your points max out at 45. You can post untill you have 45 points or, when possible you can go for the coins. using my 5 point posts trick you can easily do this.

Once you've maxed out your points, you can basically wait for a few days, make another 5 point post so your points are over 45 gain, rinse and repeat.

... are you sure ?

Let's see how many points I get for posting this comment here ...

OK, forgot to record my points before. Now I have 25.34 ...

... and after posting this last sentence I got 25.62.

So you do get points for blogging as well as posting comments, as far as I can tell.

I also get points for blogging. Angel

Blogging is actually a great way to earn points. Particularly now when the daily posts in the forums have dried up to the extent they have. There isn't much to respond to these days. So one only needs to think of something and then write it down. Took me a while to get into blogging as Frihost was my first experience, but as soon as I did, I really started liking it. I also like the way Bondings coded it. Very simple and easy to work with.

Wow, this is strange, I stand corrected Laughing

but just like dean said, when the forums are dried out as they seem to be at this point, it can be a good way to make some points.

The last couple of days I checked in on the forums but end up logging out immediately because there aren't any good topics, I check the blog section too but still. I wish there was something I could do.

I always used "View posts since last visit", a.k.a. "New Posts" on the forum index page.
I just bookmarked it in my browsers, so I could check are there any new posts or replies.
Here is the link.

I used to do the same rx, accept for the last number of months every now and then I get logged out, and once logged out they tend to disappear on me.

It seems the new posts will be flagged as not new when we used new post function.
I use open in new tab function to read the new posts.
If the system got some error to log me out, at least the current page of new posts is still there.
Since I access frihost forum frequently, I just lost the second page only.

I've got kind'a in the habit now of working through Forums. I go for the blogs first, particularly when TheGremlyn or Ankhanu post. There are many other really excellent blogs too, but those two can write a hind leg off a donkey. I also watch out for Marcuzzo in the Blogs as his blogs are always interesting, carefully written and educational, or any of his posts in the IT forums. Wish we could benefit more from his expertise. In an empowered root level capacity.

I like to check out the Support Forums too. My opportunity to learn as well.

General Chat is nice entertainment, sometimes I find something to comment on, but less and less. I also check Philosophy and Religion. Or if highlighted, some of the other Forums. But must say that I now have sessions where I don't post as there is just nothing to post to. I log out with an uneasy feeling I should have done something, but there was just nothing there. Crying or Very sad
