So the lion part I totally see in you. The kitten must be for him cause I'm not sure if I've seen it before. I don't know your bf well enough to see the wolf side, and I certainly didn't know about the biting thing. I could see your mom being like that when she saw the bite marks lol!
I have no idea if I have an animal side.
We've all heard about furries. Perhaps you have a friend who is one or maybe you are one yourself. I've been told I am a furry by more than one person. Taken from wikipedia: "The furry fandom is a subculture interested in fictional anthropomorphic animal characters with human personalities and characteristics." According to this definition, I am not in fact a furry. I consider myself a primal. Primals are people who have animal personalities and characteristics. Quite the opposite really. I am a human with an animal on the inside. I have more than one persona too. Usually the animal I feel like most often is a little kitten. But in the heart of every kitten is a fearless lion, ready to pounce. Hence the screename. I am curious, mischievous and playful. My boyfriend often compares my behavior to his cat. Hehe. Not to mention i love raw fish (sushi) and warm snuggly naps.
I have found a kindred spirit in my boyfriend. He too is a primal, a wolf in human clothing. How do a wolf and a kitten get along you may ask? Quite well actually. He is the reason I have explored the kitten side of my personality. You could almost say he tamed the lion, but that wouldn't be quite true. Everything from his personality, to his appearance, to his instincts and senses are wolflike. He has very good night vision, and an acute sense of smell and hearing. He can pick up on my mood just from my scent. He likes to hunt, and he takes pride in providing for the pack (and therefore loves to cook and is quite good at it!), and protecting them. The pack are the people closest to him, the friends and family that surround him. Other wolflike habits he has include growling and biting. Most times this is not gentle biting. He bites hard! But not as hard as he'd like. I once had an awkward conversation with my mother because she noticed bite marks on my neck. She asked if they were spider bites. I said no. She asked if they were bed bug bites. I laughed and said no mom. She hesitated. "Human?" she asked. Yes. They are human. "Oh... was it agreeable?" She asked. I told her it was very agreeable. My mom is super conservative. She doesn't even know I have a boyfriend. I'll tell her eventually, when the time is right.
So my question to you guys: is there an animal spirit inside you? If so, what is it and how do you know? Have you always felt this way?
