Ok, there we go again. The summer is over and the autumn begins. And we are ready for it, here at Frihost.
I added a link to the blog, under the avatar, at least if you have one setup.
Then I also launched the User Pages, to finally replace the old profiles.
The user pages were already live, just unofficial and lacking some features. Today I added the links to the latest topics a user posted in and also a few other minor changes. It still lacks some features and a better design, but I'm not going to wait 5 years (when it's finally finished) to launch it. I also added a link to the user pages from the 'guests' pages, so the search engines will quickly find and index them.
Some people seem to think that Frihost is worth a lot. I'm not saying that the price isn't realistic, I would rather call it low. However these domain valuing services are completely wrong, since websites are almost impossible to put a price on - let alone with automated means based on links, alexa rank and pagerank. A website worth as much as people want to pay for it. And since Frihost isn't for sale, you won't find out how much it's worth anytime soon.

All the changes are great, I love them. I also noticed that there are now RSS feeds for all the forum categories. That should be useful for keeping track of interesting posts...
