Yes, we finally reached the one million posts! It's time to celebrate!
So what will change?
First of all, I guess it's time for a upgrade of the hosting accounts. I will change it to 750MB disk space and 20GB bandwidth. Only exception is the accounts on VPS1 which will (currently) not be changed due to not enough space, however you can request to get an account on Server 4, you'll have to move the files/databases yourself and the subdomain will change.
Secondly I'll create a lot of competitions, mostly with a free domain name as a prize.
The first competition will be a referral competition. At the end of July, the person that earned the most coins with referring users to Frihost will win a free domain.
The other competitions will be announced afterwards.
Finally for the people looking for a new posting goal to look forward to, I'll create a counter with the number of all public/non-spam posts since currently all posts are included in the one-million posts. If you don't include the spam posts, AWIT's and staff forums, we still are at about 950.000 posts. Hence we can once again reach the million "real" posts!

adriFirst of all congratulations Bondings and well done. It takes someone really special to be able to run a Website like this, and considering you are doing it in your "free" time, absolutely kudos to you. I never intended for it to happen, as this has been my first posting experience ever, but somehow Frihost has become a second home for me.
Secondly, I'm totally bowled over with the generosity of space. It's completely above and beyond the norm. Thanks very much, wow! I'm in Adri's category with Server 1 and yes I love my cPanel, so unless there is something better out there, it would be great if I could keep my cPanel.
Thirdly, with regard to the referral campaign, I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to do it without becoming a spammer. I know this means something to you, so hopefully will come up with some ideas of how to do it. I don't have any friends who would be interested in Websites, however I do like to post (as you know .... 
) so may be able to use that to go out and get people to sign up, provided I can do it in a dignified and ethical way.
Fourthly: YES, YES, YES! I DO need a new posting goal. So if we drop the posts by 500,000 for going for the real McCoy, then I'm gung-ho for that.

but Bondings, why do AWITs count towards the total number of posts? Are they made in a private forum kind of structure? @gh0strec0n_legit: william was the person with the 1 millionth post. (click)
adri @saratdear, the AWIT topics are actual forum topics "under the hood" in a private/hidden forum. There are a bit less than 10.000 posts there, actually. The spamcan has more than 40.000 posts.
@Bondings - I did get 2 AWITs sometime back and I went through them again, but they didn't seem to follow the usual forum layout - more like how the forum appears to logged out users, for example. That's why I asked. Thanks for clearing it up.
Deleted posts go to a separate forum? That's news to me as well.

But on server 4 we have already 750mb for each old user. Ah, never mind. 750MB is already enough. @inuyasha. I thought it was 500MB. But like you said no biggie I'm sure. Amazing how this service has lasted so long. Hopefully it stays free and up for a much longer time!
Congrats to Frihost. I think the 1m post milestone came so early, and if you see the quality of posts and the respected community, you'll realize how valuable asset is Frihost.

You don't need to register on lots of forums to earn payback from your referrals. Twitter and Facebook are the massive marketing tools these days and let me say, if you've got 5k twitter followers, you're good to get 1k signups via your referral code. Congratulations B0ndings really good idea if you upgrade hosting to change it to 750MB disk space and 20GB bandwidth. 1 million post is a great way to successful free hosting cheers to that.

@mahirh, we move it to a "spam" forum. If you completely remove a post or topic there is no way of knowing afterwards that user x posted a spam message or retrieving the topic/post or something similar.

Am so happy to be among the one million frihost members.i have been out for a long time. Though its not my fault(my computer gotr spoiled). Am so happy to be back. I pray that frihost will continue to progress and prosper.
@uchejohn. One million postings, not members ..... now one million members would be quite interesting, especially if all of them should have Websites. I am a new user, I have used few paid hosting's before, But never was i so happy with speed and all the things, I wish Frihost Team and Bondings a very best luck, and may frihost prosper more and more.
I am not even using 250 Mb yet but great to know I got more room as well as more bandwidth.

It's really great. Unbelievable, and I'm still here... I was wondering why my application gets rejected all the time. I have tried 2 times with moral support from friends but i receive no luck in hosting on Frihost.
I really like the idea of frihost's hosting and this new program that will be of benefit.
I am looking foward to getting accepted and start hosting quickly.
@skilz4never: I can't blame them, most of your posts are out of the question and mostly gibberish. You seem eager to have posting yet you are not willing to post for it.
You can't blame the Staff. I'm positive that if you change the way you post, you will get your hosting but you can't expect to be given hosting if you post gibberish messages.

Congrats! I'm on Server 1 too, but like adri, I like cPanel and still able to cope with the disk space and bandwidth provided in Server 1. Really grateful what Frihost had provided all of us, for FREE all this time.
