Points reset request form

I've just finished making the points reset request form. This was planned to be made several years ago, but at least it's done now.

Anyway, this is a way to get rid of very negative points. If accepted, this resets your points to 15 (or something positive at least).

This is only allowed with 2 conditions:

First you need to show that you are willing to post again/more by posting at least a few decent posts before requesting a points reset. And afterwards of course you'll need to keep posting to keep your points positive.

Secondly this is only supposed to be done very infrequently. If you request another points reset request without having made a lot of posts in between (or without a very good reason), it won't be accepted.

If you have very low points and don't want to lose your hosting account, please use this. Of course you could also try to post a lot and get your points positive that way. But not everyone is able to post that much in a short amount of time.

Brilliant idea, great way to help out some formerly active users. Applause Just wondering, is there any criteria for "very negative points"?

galing nman ne2 bossing.,. keep it up po! more power!

@william, no there isn't a criteria but it's not really worth it to request it if you have -5 points or similar.

napakaganda po nyan... sa ganyang paraan ay masisisguro natin na ang bawat posts ng ating mga kasmahan ay may laman at kapikipakinabang sa lahat ng mga makakaabasa.. very nice po.. keep it up and more power!

As I see it, this is a great idea. If someone has -150 points it can't get back to normal... at least, it's not an easy job.
Congratulations Bondings, for making Frihost what it is... the best free webhosting service.

I have no clue what this means. It seems that it is necessary to keep posting to keep the website on the internet.

Great feature. I guess this would be good for someone who is away from home for a long time on business or something like that and doesn't have reliable internet access available.

hey guys!
im a newbie in this site.
can u help me how to earn points?
jeffzareno on Wed Sep 01, 2010 5:15 am
@jeffzareno. My suggestion is to think about what topic interests you. The most logical thing that may interest you could be to build a Website? So why not look that Forum up, and see whether any of the topics in the Forum interest you? This is the link for that Forum:
http://www.frihost.com/forums/vc-18.html&sid=9193a8410c28a1761bd1c77a34b646eb

Or there may be a question about something that you want to know about building Websites, or software that you want to use. First you should check whether there is already a thread available for dealing with your question by using the search option, if not, why not start your own thread and ask the question. Once you are in the right Forum for what interests you, building points will become effortless.

uchejohn on Sat Sep 04, 2010 6:19 am
i can see that this site is so educative and may also be lucrative. thanks to administrators
uchejohn on Sat Sep 04, 2010 6:23 am
at uchejohn, the site requires that you post 5 remarks or start some topics to earn enough points to request for a free website. Once you have posted 5 posts and earnt enough points the link to request for a free website appears in your profile.

Don't know if this is the right place to post this question, but let's say I've had a minus 5 (-5) points reminder and I've gone back to positive points, will I get another minus 5 reminder or will I only get the minus 10 if I'm too busy again to follow my account balance and post every now and then?

If the answer is that one goes straight to minus 10, one very important request would be that reminders would not be canceled when used (in other words, EVERY TIME one goes below zero one should get the "you're below zero" message), because I think these reminders are meant to make sure people are active. For many legitimate reasons people can forget about the forum for too long and I assume these reminders are meant to help them keep track, not to be a kind of legal provision before punishing them.

How does it all work?
Thanks in advance for the answer.

I think this is a good idea for those people that have a minus 100 points where there is almost no way of getting out of your point debt. I am not deep into my point debt but it is almost tempting to see how the system works. Very Happy

This is good idea! thanks

should help getting on the right track. Cool
TeamChrome on Thu Sep 23, 2010 6:20 pm
Due to my studies I've been inactive for quite some time. I have around -30 points at the moment, and I guess this isn't a very big point debt, so I think I'll just post in some interesting topics and get there... (btw, I started off with -50 points a few days back...) am I right in doing so? or should I fill out the form?
speeDemon on Sun Sep 26, 2010 10:13 am
@speeDemon, you can always request it, but if you are able to get back to positive points yourself that's a lot better. Besides, with about 10 posts you'll probably reach positive points again, so I don't think it'll be that hard. Very Happy
Bondings on Sun Sep 26, 2010 1:10 pm
Yeah, that's what I thought, thanks!
speeDemon on Sun Sep 26, 2010 8:04 pm
Thanks for the option Bondings Applause

But I signed up under the deal that I keep my account active, and it's my job to get the points back so I'll plug away for the next few days.
I'm just totally grateful you haven't just deleted me for being so lame lately, cheers Smile
