New Frihost ranks

I finally changed the ranks Addicted Frihoster and Frihost Freak to Frihost Sage and Elite Frihoster (7500 posts). Those were the most popular ones in the poll. My apologies for the delay. Ghost Rider103 also got his a unique rank; Ghost of Frihost.

I also changed the number of posts required for a certain rank, essentially a bit more for every rank. What do you think about this?

Please, not too high! How will I ever reach it? Have a really high title that only a few will attain. And have some moderate ones that are achievable by a larger quantity. Anyway, thanks for the new titles. Peace/salam.

Thanks Bondings! That is awesome. Also many many MANY thanks to RVEC for his Moderator and technical poll support, Ghostrider for the artwork, Ocalhoun for sober counsel and all the other Frihosters who persevered and voted in the polls.

With regard to the number of postings I totally agree. It would be great if we could spread out the numbers in between ALL of the ranks from beginning to end. As very soon we will probably all be heading past 7500.

By the way, is it possible for Ghostrider to do a little write-up on the artwork and what it symbolizes? At first glance it looked like a bat, a fancy one though, or is it a spiritual bat? On second thought, it could be a bulls head too .... would be nice though to learn what the symbolism is:

Ah, very very nice ranks. Awesome job, Ghostrider103! Love the new designs, and great to see "Frihost Sage" (my personal favorite).

Still, I've been downgraded to a Senior Frihoster. I sort of prefered the older post counts for the ranks, at least for now. Was actually hoping that I would turn into a Frihost Sage after this.

But all in all, I like the new ranks. And the designs are pretty good. Kudos to Ghostrider103!

Thanks Bondings. The numbering looks great. Am curious, what does the Elite Frihoster artwork look like? On the other hand, maybe we do not have to know right now, as it could perhaps be a nice surprise to wait for the first one to reach Elite Frihoster status to see what it looks like.

@deanhills, I won't show it. However if you really want to know it, find out in which directory the rank images reside and then guess for the filename (not really hard).

LOL! Noo..!! I used to be adolescent frihoster but no i'm a junior. Dw..3 posts til adolescent so yeh Don't really like the Frihost Sage..Sounds bit too much like a game or something.

While I do love the new Ranks, I'm slightly disappointed, being as I just reached 1000 posts like.. last week, and I was all stoked to have the new rank, and now I'm back at Senior Frihoster :/

Well, most people disliked the "Addicted FriHoster" so it was voted to be removed. A lot of people said if they had the choice, they would choose to be Senior over Addicted.

I'm surprised you have a different view. Don't you think "senior" suits you better than addicted?

Anyways, sorry you're upset. Though now you can set a new goal to reach an even better rank.

I don't see why everyone makes such a big deal about the rank being set a bit higher, especially if your hosted here! There's just so much to post about, so many categories and plus you gotta keep your points positive anyways so it should take much time to climb the ranks.
