It is fun to blog but not so much fun when you change your modem out and the new one doesn't work.
Things, that is other things can come up too and add to the crisis, that is crisis spelt with the "h".

After a some lag time at least I can say after walking away from the beast can say there is a new word I've learned in my command line vocabulary, ping. And let's not forget ipconfig release and ipconfig renew.

Oh fun times. Technology can be your friend... or it can be your enemy. I've had to use those commands at work when some laptops were being very stubborn.

Just checked out your Study of Simology Web page. Totally hilarious and even inspiring. Must say "sim" has a nice ring to it and rolls very comfortably off the tongue. Great choice indeed.

Liked your long list of character traits as well.

You never know the commands are there until you have to use them. Since it is my internet providers equipment I was comfortable in using their tech support. The first one I called did not help me though. It took a second call and they fixed it from their end. Isn't that scary, "from their end"!

Glad you liked the page Laughing
The character traits are real and exist in the game as well in some of our character's?

Been working on one page (faq's) that just caught my interest but it is one of those things that takes longer than you think. This one is going to be in a frame. Now that is old. How many people use this kind of thing anymore? I suspect not many. I like how they work though. Its for fun and going for simplicity on this one.

Oh there is a blog page? I must put some order in the place as it is getting very confusing. Laughing

The faq page is making my head sore. I will give this one more try to see if I can get it working again but the server on their end is giving me trouble. When I am done... are we ever done? and if it happens that things don't work out, will just have to figure out how to install something else instead.

Having a blast!

This however does not mean it is easy! It is taking me a long time to understand things that to others might be second nature. This always happens when the subject matter is new to you. I want to consider this for the next topic.

When you pick a topic or a little project what you think will be a easy turns out not to be.

It is really a matter for time this journal.
For example, this present topic of the my blog was started six days ago and does serve a purpose for me. As I want to now keep this journal specifically for web site things, it is telling me how long I spend on each junk. I thought six day ago that I would bite off this particular junk very quickly but here it has been over six days.

Well, one week isn't too bad I suppose if I call it research. I just can't go on to a new topic until I'm happy with the progress to be able to say 'done here' and go on to the next bit.

Some start "day" that was made on April 5. Lets see 12 minus 5 equals 7. Unless I am wrong in my calculations that would mean one week instead. Perhaps I've misunderstood all along. One day could mean one week or maybe more? I hope one day doesn't mean one thousand years. Laughing

Day 8 but it is Saturday.

Weekends are always days to do some catching up. Perhaps I will take a little time to look over what I've been doing so far and decide in which direction to go before creating a new topic. A simple to do list or plan might help but I'll decide if I want one for next week. There is no use making something if you are not committed to follow it. Question

What will you be working on today?
TheGremlyn on Sat Apr 13, 2013 4:12 pm
All I need to do for today is to close this topic so I can move on to the next one. Tomorrow, I;ll start a new topic. I've decided on one thing and that is to make a to done list instead.

the end. Laughing
