What do I like about a blog in general?

Dandelions! I like dandelions. I like that I can go from one topic to another easily and safely without someone saying, “you are off topic.”

The category topic here in my blog is a blog and if I want to write about the theory of relativity one day and dandelions the next, under the very same topic, I can. Blogging is fun that way. If someone disagrees then they can arrange their blog differently than mine. No one is saying to me, "these are the guidelines for a members blog".

The next comment will probably say read the guidelines for blogging are....

No, I don't think that will happen. Yeah, I like bloggin.. its cool.

Hey Bluedoll,
I HATE those dandelions or what I call 'Dam those lions'! laugh My neighbors must love though since their lawns are covered in them. Makes it nearly impossible for me not to have them in my lawn.

Aye, the freedom of a blog is pretty nice Smile
Add in that you can make blog posts that are statements unto themselves, where in the rest of the forums you kind of have to make an attempt at dialogue (otherwise, what's the point of a thread, really), and it opens up some avenues of expression.

Likewise, aside from their invasive status on this continent, I'm pretty content to have dandelions around... they break up the monotony of a boring ol' grass lawn... why do we care so much about grass lawns anyway?? I'd much rather have trees and shrubs, with a fern and mossy ground cover around my home! Way nicer than boring ol' (non-native) grasses.
