Making web sites can be a lot of fun. I think the problem for me has always been editing. It can be a nightmare. You start out with a theme, create your web site and then half way along decide to change it. That means delete something go back to the drawing board and sometimes it evolves a complete restructure. It does take time but if you consider it is what it takes to get a product, making also mean editing.

For me a Website is usually something that has to be alive all of the time. It is not something that you do, then sit back and let go of it, so if there are plenty of edits, that is a good sign, as any of the tinkering keeps it alive. Once one starts a Website it has to be a real commitment, otherwise it will die pretty quickly. I have not really been into a Website for a very long time. Reason being that I feel one needs to be compelled by an idea, before the Website can happen. I'm not really good at doing Websites for the sake of doing a Website. It has to be something that motivates and inspires me. So I really hope a good idea can make its way soon. And I hope it could be a business idea as well as I would love to find a way that I can make money from an online business. But again, it can't be a business just for the sake of a business. It has to be something that motivates and inspires me possibly along the lines of providing a service that is needed. Very Happy

I’ve made some web pages but in the past it has been mostly a large learning curve and sad to say a technical challenge so my next challenge is very similar to yours. I do make funny little “3d rooms” and though not a web page, I can certainly relate to what you are saying. People visit and comment sometimes but mostly just being in the room myself, I can always see things I would like to change and do so. You are so right there something dynamic is always much better than a static product but I found I need to like being there to do that. I also found that if I tried to create something too large or my interest was in multiple areas I would stray away and risk not improving as much as I would have liked. On the subject of $, is it correct to consider for websites I wonder that one has to give a little/a lot before asking unless of course it is strictly a storefront?

Nothing much to say.

Maybe I might use the blog to keep up my points – since I do not have much to say and honest enough to admit the reason for posting is to keep up my points!
Shocked
