I do hope these white spaces will no longer contain these scary musing and my final thoughts on the never-ending web page question will conclude. The dilemma being if you create it, they will come? I am sure, I am not alone in these thoughts but in fact there well may be a lot of people with this question echoing in their head and whole industries built around this problem.
First mankind creates a place to put web pages called the brave new world of cyber space or something, shall we call it the internet? Then once an innocent like myself hopes to put a page in this huge place somewhere - they are shuffled about with all the other pages and dealt a hand of obscurity.
Suddenly, there appears an urgent need for advertising and therefore a defined focused industry is set on getting your page noticed or should we say rather, finding the right individuals that are presently using the internet just so they can sneak peek your little page. The right individuals should certainly be the ones that share the same interest as you. Makes sense to me at least!
Who, not where are they, but who are they, these people we seek? This should perhaps be the first question.
From my viewpoint at least, it does not really matter where on the internet your page is, because any page can be linked to another. It is a question of putting the link into the hands of the person, that is actually interested in your page. Now what, or who, will do this for us? An electronic robot that goes out and scans pages on the internet, an site with thousands of other links or the biggest mouth piece imaginable that being someone like me! Did I just define blogging?
