i have installed forum at

and
i have setup database for this forum say forumdb

i want to make a wordpress blog on frihost
how i can do it

is it will be itforum.frihost.org/blog
or
it can be blog.frihost.org

and
i need some guideline about wordpress installation
how to instal or where to upload
is it need another database

Subdomain management problem.

I'm trying to (re)create the subdomain frih.onet.frih.net, because that's what I use for linking images to the forum. (At some point, the subdomain simply disappeared.)

However, in cpanel's subdomain management section, I can't add any new subdomains. No matter what name I type in for it, when I click 'create', the progress bar on my browser says "looking up none", and a browser's error page will soon show up, saying "cannot find server at none". Seems to be a problem.

You try accessing www.frihost.net/cpanel and all other combinations with port no 2082 etc. Still nothing. Either set an exception for port 2082 in your firewall or use this very cool script called cPanelProxy

What does it do?

I had some problems with my host and I thought they would be solved after a reset ( http://www.frihost.com/forums/vt-111267.html ). But they didn't.

So these are all the errors that I have... (cPanel!)

When I create a database I get this error:

There was a problem creating the database.. Show Details

Sorry, you have exceeded the maximum allowed databases.

When I want to see all my databases (which are none after reset):

CP-Wrap Critical Error (signal 13 from wrapped program)! This may indicate a corrupt admin binary in /usr/local/cpanel/bin/

Can't open phpMyAdmin:

Wrong user/password combination.

(Probably because of the new password that I received). Deleting my cookies didn't work.

Error when opening Fantastico De Luxe:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ';' in /tmp/cpanel_phpengine.1257095664.21879pYMSNd9ZpU on line 116

I don't know if some people have the same errors or

what you can do about it

Hey I am having troubles with my website. I deleted and updated some html files and that. And made sure it was right and when I got to the website www.ebgames56pp.frih.org/main.html I have already deleted that file, but it still shows up. the new file is www.ebgames56pp.frih.org/main.htm (Yes I know it should be named index, but the index file is there and is being used for an intro thinggy.) I think the problem is with the Frihost Servers.... Direct Admin and FTP shows that those files are deleted and that they are right it just doesn't work now.....

Like I said I think this is a server issue or a dns resolve problem.... hope you all get it fix.

problem sending emails

weither i'm using roundcube or squirrelmail i'm having trouble sending emails with attachments it seems like. a regular email passes fine but when trying to attach a file in squirrelmail i got this: "Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

I just noticed that my website http://www.fundazone.com which is hosted on frih is not opening. I first thought my account may have gone into negative points coz I haven't been active for some time, but I'm having 12.37 points at the time of writing this post.

So then I tried to access the files thru frih.org:2222 and it worked.
Then I checked http://funda.frih.net which is in the same account and that too opened.

So now I think its probably by domain registrar's fault, so I've sent them an email.

I don't know if the IP address has changed for the frih hosting on server 3.
I had kept the IP address to 64.92.163.26

Please let me know if it has changed.

First my normal way of publishing my website stopped working (a web building program called Cutesite by Globalscape), it started asking for a password before it would publish to Frihost and would not accept any. I have had some computer problems so I suspected it was due to this (some glitch in password storage or something.) I assume the password it wants is to connect to the Frihost FTP hosting, since I can readily change my own webbuilding passwords no problem.

So for the first time I tried to get into the Frihost control panel for my webhosting (Frihost account under Handfleisch), but it won't accept my password, and when I click on "forgot password" it doesn't even recognize my user name so it cannot send me a new password message.

Please help.

Hello, I have just bought a domain name and I want to use frihost as my hosting place. I have given a detail like server name and ip address in my domain registrar account as below
ns1.frih.org 72.232.207.74
ns2.frih.org 72.232.207.74

I have an existing domain www.yourguide.frih.org and I have changed it to www.crazyblogger.info (recently bought) in directadmin.

Is my process right? If I have done a mistake than please correct me.
Finally How long does it takes to show my site in new domain name? I guess its about 48 hrs but not sure.

Most windows-based hosts don't allow .exe files to be run on their servers unless you opt for an expensive virtual or dedicated hosting solution.

If you use a compiled script such as those generated by many Basic, C+ or Pascal compilers the end output is usually either an ".exe" fil or else an ".IVM" file which still requires some form of interpreter or runtime application to be hosted also. Often these files are theemselves .exe files.

More and more users such as myself prefer to generate such compiled scripts rather than use either Perl or PHP scripts.

Therefore, does anyone know of any such hosts that also allow free hosting, so that a user can try out his/her compiled scripts prior to going for a "paid" service ?

Ftp layer issue in Joomla 1.5 in relation to the Frihost server? I know I can turn it off and use it the other way but I am having no luck installing extensions and plug-ins ect. I have had to install everything locally and upload the entire site.I am trying to resolve this and find a way to upload the extensions to the frihost server.

So I ask again has anyone had success with getting the Frihost server to take extensions uploads without error problems and if so how. I am stumped and it would seem so is everyone else I have followed in our forum. also I have an ftp account with my website setup in dreamweaver, it works fine there but that's it.Thanks

Thank you admin for resetting my account and for the new password of CPanel.

I am trying to restore my website now. At first I had to add www.psexam.com domain name to the hosting account. But When I try to add domain from Addon Domain of CPanel, it displays error message that the domain is owned by another user. It can never be. I am afraid there is some problem.

Hi everyone, I had to rebuild my machine and have loaded all the apps I need back on. I reloaded filezilla and put my frihost ftp details in but I've getting connection refused messages.

The settings are exactly the same as they have always been, so I'm a bit confused.

The Fillzilla messages are:

I cant access my sites ftp.
It just comes up with that it cant find the page.
Ive tried resetting and changing browser, neither has worked. :S
Any suggestions/help appriciated.

Also frihost.com will work, but frihost.org will not.
ftp://shfrorau.frihost.org/ will work
But ftp.shfrorau.frihost.org will not work
Neither will connect via dreamweaver
I have windows 7 beta BTW

(I AM ON SERVER 4)

ADMIN works, but ftp wont.
The FTP used to work, but just stopped recently.
I can use a bunch of other programs to access the FTP, but i would prefer to use dreamweaver..
Now i cant view my site xD

By looking around, this website suggest that i set my IP to a static.
I set the DNS server to my website IP and my alternative to my original IP.
I dont know why this is, but now it will work.

For others here is the process:
Control panel>connection status>properties>internet protocol

Use following IP address and Following DNS Server Address:
For me i had used. To find this info go to Run>CMD>Ipconfig /all
IP Address: 192.168.1.2**
Subnet Mask:225.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.1.2**

DNS server 216.32.85.170 (website dns)
alternate DNS: 192.168.1.2** (original DNS)

It seems the website dns being put in allows me to access my website, and the alternate dns allows my computer to resolve other address such as msn, etc.

Hope this works.

For the past couple of days, on the two websites I am hosting here I have had to refresh dynamic pages at least once and usually between 5 and 10 times before they load. The static and cached pages seem to load ok.

Anybody with the same problem?

Could there be a PhP problem on the server?

How can I check whether this is a server problem or my websites problem?

Any idea on how to fix this?

Is it possible to use a secure connection (SSL) when retrieving mail by POP3 and sending mail by SMTP on Server 4? Are there any problems with allowing this feature on the server?

Actually I cannot determine any possibilities because the information I got from account registration does not specify even POP3 or SMTP ports. Forum search is not working yet again. It seems as though plain text works fine. I'd like to know if it's possible to have some security as well.

Problem with displaying UTF character on my site

Web Hosting Support : Problem with displaying UTF character on my site

I am facing a strange problem. The content of the page when displayed in my localhost(PHP 4.4, apache 2, mysql 5.0) is displaying properly but when uploaded to my site www.pratik.frih.net, the characters bearing the dicritical marks are seen as garbled. I have included the screen shot of both below hoping for a solution. Please help.

I have about 15 minutes trying to configurate my web or at least enter to it, but it is always telling me that the page i am trying to see is not avaiable or cannot be found.

(ratanegra.frihost.org or ratanegra.frihost.org/config)

Does someone have information about this?
Which is having the problem to connect, my computer or the server?

And an extra question:

If I add a Sub-domain or a Parked-domain in my web, how would it appear? (subdomain.ratanegra.frihost.org, ratanegra.frihost.org/subdomain, etc.)

i have been experiencing the folllowing error trying to connect my database

here is the error quoted
"
Error establishing a database connection

This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can't contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host's database server is down.
Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
Are you sure that the database server is running?
