Advertising : How to earn money?

Hi, I am building a website at the moment. I think about how to get a good hosting service. But it's a completely private project of my own, so I don't want to invest any money.
So I thought about earning some money in the internet, without working. Maybe with the site itself. But the site will only be visited by me and my friends.

I heared about making money in the internet, but I that's all I know. So I want you to make a list wich methods exists to earn money. Maybe you can give a short description of the principle and some links were I can find services or more information.

* AdSense for content ads: If you have less than three AdSense
for content ad units on a page, you may wish to replace the
referral ad units with standard AFC ad units.

If you currently use referral ads, either to promote Google
products or offerings from AdWords advertisers, AdSense Referrals
code will no longer display ads beginning the last week of August.
We encourage you to take the following steps before the product is
retired:

* Remove the referral code from your site(s): Please take a
moment to remove all referral code from your sites before the last
week of August, so you can continue to effectively monetize your
ad space.
* Run and save all referrals reports on your desktop: Create
and save all reports related to the referrals program on your
desktop, so you continue to have access to your valuable campaign
information

Why is this happening?
We're constantly looking for ways to improve AdSense by developing
and supporting features which drive the best monetization results
for our publishers. Sometimes, this requires retiring existing
features so we can focus our efforts on the ones that will be most
effective in the long term. For this reason, we will be retiring
the AdSense Referrals program. If you have any additional

Hey anyone used Cash Crate to make any dosh. They offer a decent 20% of your referrals earnings and then 10% for what their referrals earn. This percentage goes up as you refer more people. Its filling out surveys etc, if you get 10 people to do it everyday you would be laughing.

I have a visa credit card and it is verified in one of my paypal accounts. But for some reason I cannot withdraw funds to it. It doesnt appear as an option when I click on the "withdraw funds to your credit card" link.

So I was thinking about using my frihost address for some blogging just to learn how to use adsense and maximize it. I'm not expecting anything other than learning how adsense works. So I have a few questions.

1. I want to blog on different topics... would it be more advisable to just get a bunch of domains or is it fine to separate them to their own sections on one website?

2. Is it better to advertise on my own site or use something like blogspot?

I would like to know if there are any serious services that I can direct users of my site so I could gain income. I want to give some free domains, but if I'll have a "sponsor" I would be able to give more domains. Ads like AdSense and other PPC aren't recommended for such services. I want to tell a user: do that/complete a form/ watch sth/... It is forbidden to suggest a click on a PPC ad system.
