Movies and Television : The Italian Job

Well, there are two films. The first one is very good. A group of people plan to set-up a job of stealing $4,000,000 The first film was set in the sixties and I like it bery much. Some comedy scenes in it and I think it is a good family enjoyment. If you don't like films this old, there is a newer version although it isn't a remake. I prefer the newest one, I believe it has better action etc and it is easier to get to grip with the story line.

What are your opinions about this, I want to know!

Movies and Television : Dark Knight

This is a great movie.. the director Christopher Nolan has done a great job, and he's done it with such flair that the audience is left begging for more. And the most talked about character... Heath Ledger as the Joker has done an excellent job.. He is the greatest villain of all time in the Batman series... Also BATMAN Christian Bale is in great form...

This 152-minute film should have been longer.... Its a great watch. This movie has already broken some box office records .....

Just watched Wall-E last night and loved it. Has anyone else seen this film? I think it might just be the best Pixar film yet. Any other ideas out there? Did anyone dislike it? If so, why is that? The one thing I was disappointed with was the part after the credits... I sat the whole time just to see the BNL logo!

lol, I just thought of this. So, have you ever gone to a movie at the theatre and realised you hated what you were watching or just plain hated a movie you were watching with friends or by yourself?

For me, the only movie at a cinema I really wanted to walk out of was 'Hero'. Some guys told me it was fantastic so I was looking forward to it. But it was just crap. Pointlessly long fight scenes where no one gets hurt that defy the laws of physics and an excruciatingly long story which kept going back and forth. Watched the whole thing but didn't like it, which was weird because I love movies in that genre.

Other ones would be A Sound of Thunder, which I rented on dvd. That just sucked.

At the beginnning of the film, it appears a wonderful scence filled with love, Simba and his father Mufasa's happy life. Mufasa told Simba(actually the audience, us!) very philosophical words.
But when it comes to the Scar's murder, I don't want to watch it at all. I felt glad to know Simba get over all the difficulty at last, but I doubt if it's necessary to add such a bloody plot(I mean Mufasa's death caused by his brother Scar) in a cartoon film?

I love the show, but they need to cut back on the lengthy last episode recaps, and get some more content, and like scrubs and the sopranos with long breaks, this show decided to take a 3 week hiatus.

I go to movie theaters once a year. I can't afford it! And it's not worth it because I still have to sit through the d&mn commercials. It was less than a decade ago that I used to spend my Friday nights at actual dollar theaters, picking random movies I had never heard of and watching them for just a dollar and I didn't care if they sucked, because it had only cost a dollar, so most of the time I was pleasantly surprised. I saw some good movies that way!

These days, I only go see one movie a year. I try to pick one that's big budget and a lot of fun. Last year it was the Spiderman flick.

Well recently I downloaded some movies and they are; [REC], Blair witch project, Sixth Sense, The Happening, The village, and The Mist.

I have not seen any of them until yesterday. I can say I loved them all except for one.

The Blair Witch Project. I thought it was a horrible movie, and very boring. But I loved the ending

****Spoiler*** Highlight only if you have seen the movie or don't care.

I loved how she walks down there and her friend is standing in the corner before she dies just like how the legend went, about how he made them stand in a corner and look away because he didn't like them looking while he killed them. The best part of the movie right there.

I recommended all of the movies listed above.

I know it's a little wierd to all of you but someone here like this kind of japanese production?

In United States this style is known by the Power Rangers. At reality Power Rangers only uses japanese effects and costumes, so they are not "tokusatsu" at all(this term means "special effects movies" to resume in one phrase).

Does anyone here came across Go Go Sentai Boukenger or Kamen Rider Kabuto? They are now at japanese Tv Asahi and can be downloaded by torrent.

Here in Brazil this kind of production is very famous. That's why i am developing a site dedicated to them.

I am a great fan of the Indiana Jones movies. Also of Harrison Ford, in his earlier years. So could not wait to see his fourth movie "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Scull". Initially I was quite disappointed, as it was a totally different Harrison Ford. The Harrison Ford of the earlier Indiana Jones movies had more of the loner vibe, very well defined character, some aloofness, more adventure written into his features. The latest Harrison Ford has gone softer, more connected, not aloof anymore, less adventurous. I was however happy that he teamed up again with Karen Allen (Marion in the movie) and a brandnew son. Am a great fan of Karen's as well as Marion character in the movie. Bringing in a son was cute and touching. But not quite up to the very solid standards of earlier movies. ...

Does anyone remmber the British 1960s science fiction television series "The Prisoner"??
It was all filmed primarily on location at the Hotel Portmeirion in Penrhyndeudraeth, North Wales.
They built a Italian village in wales,I love it.

I just about flipped out when I saw that this movie had indeed been greenlit.

Video game movies in general are bad, and some involve plots that are a stretch as there wasn't much to work with in the first place.

The game is Joust, popular 70s arcade, was on the Atari and such. The plot, if you can call it such involves an epic battle between vikings that ride ostriches.

Anyone catch this Simpsons this past Sunday (January 27; 8pm)? What a horrid piece of crap. Obviously this show is completely out of ideas if they have to start making up stories about how marge was in college in the 90's, and Homer was a grunge musician. First off, they already did at least one story about Homer and music, with the one where he was part of a babershop quartet.

Secondly, and most glaring, is the fact that the flashback stuff takes place in the 90's. I'm sorry, but those stories don't work anymore since the show was on for the entire duration of the 90's. It's like they are ignoring everything that has already happened in the show and the fact that the kids have been around the whole time. Those stories worked in the first few seasons, but not anymore. The show should have ended 10 years ago. Each season gets stupider and stupider. ...

I'll donate 20 of those frihost dollars to the first person that answers this question. Be warned, I or none of the people I have asked have found an answer and we have scoured movie collections for it.

So onto the question.

Name an Actor or Actress that has acted in all 3 movies of 3 seperate trilogies.

An example could be Eddie Murphy who was in all 3 Beverly Hills Cop movies, or Any of the LoTR actors.

What makes it harder is that it what defines a trilogy, for this question we much use the following definition of a trilogy.

A trilogy is 3 movies, each movie must be based around the events of the same character/group of characters. Only current trilogies count, so no future trilogies (ie Dr Doolittle 3 or Shrek 3).

It can only be 3 movies, as soon as there was a 4th (rocky 4, Alien Resurection) it turns into a series and no longer counts.

This question has been bugging me since it was asked, if anyone has an answer I would love them for EVER!
