I get this error from google and from my sitemap generator. I have no clue where they are finding this url. Could I do a simple mod rewrite to fix this?

I finally let go of Yahoo. It used to be my "Home" page in Internet Explorer, but gradually over the last few months I got even more irritated than before. Irritations with the latest changes were the Address Line. Previously I could just click in the "address line" box and type in a new address, but now I find I have to delete the whole of the address line in Yahoo first before I can type a new address. Then with the search box, Yahoo has introduced "intuitive" search options, problem is that possibly they do not have enough sources to speed things up. So it is slowing down my searches, as well as I have to click really hard in the search box before I can enter my search words. For some reason the cursor does not automatically stay in the search box. The latter two "features" made me change to Google. Google is much faster, I also think it is coming up with better searches. I do still like the Yahoo news page though, so now and then will go back to Yahoo. ...

Recently I began noticed that my sites raking were dropped so much. After try searching to find out the reason why, I've found that one webmaster reported his problems in Google's webmaster discussion forum that

"Today I found that my entire site has dropped out of site in search results. I have a site that received over 2,000 search visits per day and today that has stopped."

I also found the report said that Google don't like paid links and also has an official form that enables for webmasters to report paid links to them.

"Buying or selling links that pass PageRank is in violation of Google's webmaster guidelines and can negatively impact a site's ranking in search results."

I guess that the problem is many of my sites also have many paid links to them too. Do paid links really affect my Google rankings? Can I finally fall in trouble with Google due to my paid links? If so, how can I solve this problem as fast as possible?

So I've been trying to launch my website http://3ld.biz/ it offers free domains and other stuff, and I've been posting comments on peoples blogs to try and get links to my website. I've submitted my site to google, did all the meta tags stuff, did the sitemap thing, did the robots.txt thing.... I still can't seem to get ranked in PR. I can't seem to get people to come and register.
What am I doing wrong here?

Most of my traffic does NOT come from search engines. I don't know if that is a good thing, or a bad thing.

In fact, my website only gets 1.03% traffic from search engines, which I think is very low. I get most of my traffic from other websites, about 75%, and all my other hits are from direct traffic.

So should my search engine hits be higher than that, or is it normal to have most of my traffic coming in from referring website?

My search engine traffic used to be about 7%, but then I started advertising on other websites like crazy, and my referring website stats went up a good amount.

Anyways, I am launching a website and have a list of keywords at the bottom of the site that are hidden. Is there anyway to expedite the process of Google finding them for their search engine?

How can it be that my site is doing awesome on Google now, but no where to be found in MSN? All my pages are optimized pretty good, and tmany are showing up great in Google out of an average 200,000-500,000 results.

But the same pages are not showing up on MSN? The only thing showing up on MSN is my homepage for things, but no inner pages like in Google.

Any ideas as to why?

Google's Duplicate Content Penality has been creating a lot of buzz around the Internet for a long time, while most of SEO experts I know of totally believe it's truth, others, like me know by practice that it might just be a Myth. From my experience, google just wouldn't show duplicate content on the same keyword query but if you are using duplicate content to generate backlinks, and use your anchor texts wisely, it still helps your ranking for those keywords. To me, if you want to rank well on google, you just need loads of quality backlinks using decent amount of variations or anchors texts from site on unique IPs, if those sites you got backlinks from also are in the same niche with yours, that's great. But related or not, just go get backlinks whenever you could (don't do that on the same site though), and if you can, remember "globe recogition"! Anyway, I think i'm a bit off topic by now, just go to this post written by Chris Crum to see the official and detailed explanation from Greg Grothaus of the Search Quality Team.
