Is it just me, or did most of the internet go down for a little while?
I tried going to google: could not
tried frihost: couldn't go
tried hotmail: couldn't go there either
tried several other sites, both major and minor: no good
tried www.onet.frih.net (my frihost account): worked!
tried equinedream.org: worked!
...Then I figured it out: it must be showing only cached pages; so I went to a part of my forum that I knew I had never been to before (the profile of the newest member). It worked fine! I wasn't viewing cached pages!
tried rfl.frih.net (since frih.net apparently worked): no go.
tried all the others again: none worked
ping www.google.com: couldn't find host
ping www.equinedream.org: ping came back perfectly
waited a while

The only explanation I can come up with is that most of the internet (besides my websites) was down! That couldn't possibly be, could it? So what really happened?
