I would like to suggest Bondings to install Zend Optimizer on the server.This software is important for some zended software.The author encrypt it so that his/her copyright can be protected.Hence,it need zend optimizer to run it.

You know, if you really wanted to, you could probably manage to make scripts that would run encrypted php files using encryption already a part of php.
