A rollercoaster based on horror movie franchise Saw will open at UK theme park Thorpe Park next year.
Riders will face a vertical drop of 100º from a height of 100ft, making Saw: The Ride the steepest freefall plummet in the world. It is also the first ever theme park ride to be based on a horror movie.
The Saw series centres around the sadistic Jigsaw Killer (Tobin Bell) and the various traps he designs to punish victims he believes have led morally questionable lives.
Saw V will debut in cinemas on October 24, with the ride opening at Thorpe Park, Surrey on March 14.
