Hi I'm ceann and I'm new here and in making a website that actually has a purpose.
Anyway, I am planning to create a website for my high school class. A website where we can chat, share music, videos and photos, and send group messages from the website to their cellphones.
Can anyone give me advice on how will I start doing this website? is my website feasible or is it possible?

Yeah, it's possible. Maybe you could write up your own script if you get web space?

There are quite a few ways to do things like this, but sending messages to cellphones would be a bit challenging. I think the way phones text is through an email, and their adress would be something like cellnumber@carrier.com, but I'm not sure, and I'm sure there are many differences.
