9/11 The day that hit the nation hard. As everyone knows a new building is in progress right now. Its called the freedom tower. just when are they going to actually start this daunting task? I ask if any one who has news about this roadblock let me know!
New tower to reshape America
I've actually been wondering much the same thing... They had a bunch of different designs that they were trying to choose from, all from famous engineers and architects - did they agree on one?
i dont know , maybe some designs have been choosen
They have agreed on design made by Jewish Architech by name Libeskind (Daniel Libeskind ) but with some modification on it... Now it will come up as Freedom Tower!

It looks cool, but man...they need to come up with something totaly original to make it a Modern Wonder.
my guess is the project will be delayed too long for it to ever be the tallest building in the world. if things go on schedule, china's tower will be the tallest in 2007 and then the burj dubai in UAE will be the tallest in 2008. the freedom tower is not even on a schedule yet.
well yeah i found a site that has a new design but still i have no clue if thats the final project
im not very impresed with it. It might be me but it dosent look much like new york...but that is just me

Yes, but it won't be anything less magnicifient than any other buildings in the world. And it will be the tallest still..... Libeskind plan goes that way...
But India is also planning the tallest building in the world....
