Woopra Web Analytics

Has anyone here ever tried Woopra? Its a web statistics service in beta that has lots of interesting features. I applied for my site a few months ago but I only got accepted a few days ago. Anyway basically how it works is you install the tracking code on your site, then you download the program which lets you view your stats. In there you can see a live view of people on your website, and also start up a chat with them.

You can also setup alerts with different filters so say a person from Australia searching for kangaroos comes to your website, well then you can setup an alert which pops up on your computer when the visitor arrives.

Pretty cool stuff.
Website is at http://www.woopra.com/

It looks cool, especially the UI of the software.
I'd like to have a try. Very Happy

Yeah it is pretty cool, very different from the current analytics services on the market now. I hope they go into a public release soon.

I applied and it took a while to get accepted (About 2 weeks) but they finally accepted me and i am in the process of trying it out now, first impressions are that its really impressive,i have used statcounter up till now but this is more immediate as you can follow and track what people are looking at on your site as it happens, you can even click on them to start a conversation should you so wish,i used to have something similar installed on my website but it used up too much memory so i had to un-install it,i would have to say though that this looks even better than the installed one i had.

Looks pretty well-built. I like the GUI! Smile I'll try it when I have time.

Glad you like it truespeed. Yeah it has a really nice interface, more like a real program than an analytics service.

I'd be a bit skeptical here, and say that I really don't want to start a conversation with the administrator of the site that I'm visiting. This sort of thing sounds very resource intensive...

It may well be resource intensive, but its on their server not yours, all you do is place some code in your pages and download a programme that runs on your pc to follow the stats.

The only down side to he software which i have just found out,is at the moment it restricts websites to 10 thousand page views a day, then it stops logging your statistics,i reached that limit at 4pm this afternoon.

Hopefully when it comes out of beta they will increase the page impressions limit.
