Animal Crossing?

Watching an epsiode of the simpsons the other day.

Homer? had to stop because there was a sign saying Animal Crossing?

Sure enough animals crossed, this made me laugh then i realised this happens lots in the real world

How does the person decide where to put the sign, does he stakeout in camo gear and take notes.

On another note, why do you have to wait for Chips when you go in a chip shop, is it really suprise when someone comes in and orders chips to the people the other side of the counter?

Anyone else got any other strange and wonderful "why does this happen?"

Aw, I was hoping this topic was about the game Animal Crossing. Laughing

Animal Crossing signs are put up in areas of the road where animals travel often. Just as we have roads, animals make and follow paths. I'm sure people notice them when they are making the road, or they are noticed because so many people hit animals there.

You may have to wait for the chips because they are making them fresh... Not sure though, I don't think we have "chip shops" here in the USA...

You have to open a new chain or franchise in USA.

You have never tasted chips (Big French Fries) like from a Chip Shop.

I have only seen deer crossing and duck crossing signs. Oops, forget the turtle crossing sign. No kidding! Would hate to have to wait for a turtle to get across the road.

I wait for chips because I like to feel they exist only for me. If they pre-make the chips, then they're just expecting me, and I really work for them, which just makes me a puppet for the man, man.
