Best to stick with on-server site monitoring. Or use Google Analytics.

What a good ad-free website hit counter did you used personally?
That could be posted on every webpage, not just on one, and counter's provider will not claim right to use results of the count for your website anywhere it would like.

I have all statistics I need, but would like to have a visible counter showing all the hits since beginning.

Agree with "gcaughill", it's enough (for me) to use only those two monitoring.

Yea, you don't need anything other then Google Analytics.

And I tried Statbrain, it's so off it's funny. It said our site had 3,268 visits per day, when we've been hitting no more then 300. I wouldn't use any off site stats, as it's more than likely to be wrong.
