Hello upon connecting my iPodtouch to my notebook(laptop), it instantly pops up on iTunes and the like. But, with the different USB2.0 cord with my iPod Touch into the same computer, nothing is recognized; nothing pops up on iTunes; and a message appears saying, "The USB Device Windows was not recognized."
man what should I do? my iPod Touch has had many problems lately, such as the "white apple load-up screen" never leaving almost a week, and it constantly being hot. I assumed it was a problem with the buggy 1.1.4 firmware recently installed (mind you, no problems occurred before 2.0) but I'm ven nable to install 2.0.1 onto it due to the fact it won't be recognized.
I'm really not sure what I should do. I cant call Apple customer support (HOW?!)? Should I buy a new iPod Touch USB Cord (if so, where?)?
