Pretty simplistic, yet quite entertaining. well thnx for all those great games, i tried some out and i think the best one so far is Lineage. I really like the Dark Elf Mages and their strong attacks, but i just wanted to know if anyone has a good server where i can play Lineage 2 on.

Highly recommended. If you haven't played yet, go try it out. yes, the kingdom of loathing is a brilliant and clever game! it may seem childish but the humour is excellent!

Well, I can search any MMORPG from some search services. But thing I want some people who have ever played new Games introduce how to play or what attractions. Before we begin playing a game, all of us want to know about of contents of the game, graphics, interface users etc.
I used to play many MMORPGs such as MU, TS-Online, Conquer, LineAge II, Priston Tale. I think that they are very interesting!

Back in the "olden days" when i was a kid and PCs were all DOS based, there were a lot of really cool (at least to us at that point) text-only games, they were very involved and very cool.

Its a baseball MMO... I started playing Ragnarok Online a few weeks ago, but the server I play at really stinks.
VERY unfriendly GM's ever! They banned me for vending in the circle in niflheim while it wasn't even an official rule... niflheim was made home town for halloween...
Also the server is down like 25% of the time.

I don't want a toplist or anything, I want your opinion my friend who's played Silk Road online said it isn't that good...she said the graphics are really amazing, but the gameplay sucks like no other. If you're looking for those type of games, I suggest Lineage2 or WoW. You can't go wrong there.

I personally did not like this game but there again I didn't give it much chance. I was on it for ten minutes but some people have said it's quite a good game, to be honest I couldn't really be arsed with it and didn't even do anything apart from talk to this tutorial guy. you guys don't know how lucky i feel right now to have joined this forum...first it was for the web hosting...but woh...you guys have posted a lot of free online gaming sites...some/most i didn't know existed...i have visited all the sites and i am having trouble figuring out which ones i should actually join and those i shouldn't join...its just some have better game play graphics some have better load times...and some just have better plot lines but game play mode isn't as appealing as those with less entertaining plot lines...i won't list the games here...just in case someone gets offended...

I've seen a bunch of people have already posted America's Army but it is amazing. It is an First Person Shooter developed by the United States Army but people around the world play it. Clans from Switzerland, Germany, England, all over North America. You can play it at a casual level and enjoy the good graphic, good weapons, and easy-to-lear gameplay or you cant step it up a notch and play in competitive leagues and ladders.
Second is SilkRoad Online. It is by far the best free online MMO. It is very close to WoW level and is totally free! It is the second most played MMO everyday behind WoW alone.
Depending on whether you like FPS or MMO, these are both great choices accordingly. I have yet to see a good RTS like warcraft to go free but i'm sure one will come out soon enough.

My favorite free online game is Tibia. (www.tibia.com) Basically, it's one of those massive multiplayer online role playing games. Kind of looks like a Super Nintendo game (with the graphics). I started it in May 2003 and still playing it today... Yeah, I'm a bit addicted, to say the least.
Anyway, it's great. You don't have to pay to play. However, you can purchase a premium account that will allow you to get some additional bonuses (such as being able to rent houses, faster health regeneration, more places to go, hunt, own guilds, etc.
Not sure why I like it so much... I guess the coolest part about it is the community.
What really makes things good though is that you don't have a to have a high-speed internet connection. I'm actually running on a (rather crappy) 56k connection right now and have no problems unless I'm trying to download something or open up about ten pages in the browser... lol
The CipSoft Team (company that owns Tibia) usually has two major game updates each year: one for the summer and one for Christmas. This summer, they are putting in a Carribean theme in 12 new islands with better graphics. I love it!
I have not tried a lot of the other MMORPG games since I don't have a good internet connection, but please private message me if you have some nice suggestions.

I do like the game Conquer 2. It's a cool semi-action rpg from the Diablo II point of view. The game involves three different job classes that you can be. They all have fancy names but in the end it comes down to the classics: Wizard, Fighter, Archer
Anyways. the game involves you jumping around, taking hours and hours to level up, and if you try to move on it's like impossible cuz the monsters are so strong. but it's still fun to play

I'm playing just my first time this game and it's great. Games doesn't start up until join 20 human players (sometimes it takes a few days to gather them all), but when somoebody quits computer player takes control of its nation.
Duration of game is rather long - there is two options:
- 3 turns by week

The oriental look of the game gives it an appart image from the other MMORPG. The only bad thing about this game is the awfull login system and that you get disconected for like 3 or 4 times a day.

To play it go to yahoo games, go to word games and then at the bottom is the shark typing game. You have to type the words on the sharks and fish as they swim towards you...but the cool thing is that it tells you how fast you type and with what accuracy! that's pretty neat. The game gets more challenging when the letters start mutating as you type them! so then the accuracy doesn't really count in my opinion =)
The other funny game is called Cake Mania. You can buy the version or just play it for free. I chose the free option and every now and then it makes you watch a commertial. The point of the game is to make cakes for your customers...and it is funny. If the customers get too mad they start cussing at you and turn red (well, no audible words come out of their mouths but you can tell they are not happy!) You can upgrade your cake shop by buying toppers for the cakes and by buying faster ovens and frosting machines. Also you can get a microwave that automatically makes cupcakes which can tide your angry customers. There is an angle which is the most impatient customer...pretty funny in my opinion...and of course the brides are also impatient!

But I have to make a mention as you it's one of the best MMORTS game for the computer. If you don't know what that means, it basically stands for Massively Multi-Player Online Real Time Strategy Game.
The game has been around for about 6 years or so now. I've played since beta testing days about 5 years ago.
It is free to play, but if you want a little bit more of the perks, you have to pay a monthly subscription of $10 in U.S. money. In my honest opinion, it's not really worth it. If you really insist on paying, you can get away with paying once every 60 days. You'll have that much time once your game account expires before you need to pay again. Even if you decide not to pay later on, you can still play the game, you'll just lose those minor perks and once you reach a certain level, you get booted to the more professional planet. I really don't like it as much as the beginning planet as the people there act too "PRO" for me.

I also have to give mention to the new and upcoming game for the Xbox360 which is also a MMORTS game. This one could very well eclipse this game since it's based on an incredible game series. I'm pretty sure that most of you have heard of the Halo empire from Microsoft/Bungie. Well they're at it again but instead of a first person shooter, they're making a MMORTS game called HaloWars. Looking from the trailer so far, it looks incredible! It's just a game video, no shots of actual game play as of yet. I know I will most definitely keep track of this game's progress.
The only thing that bothers me is the fact that it will be on the Xbox360 and it's not reported on whether you will play just using the game controller or a keyboard/mouse combo. It would seem more fitting to use a keyboard/mouse combo as I'm pretty sure there will be a fair amount of commands that will be easier to execute on a keyboard/mouse combo rather than a game controller. Who knows, we'll see where it goes.

I think it came out in November so whoever starts playing now won't be so far behind.

This is an excellent mmo golf game. It's free to play etc, however, if you want you can purchase in game money (cookies) for special items.

I'll admitt the graphics aren't the most high-tech but i really like the way the creators deigned the 2d layout. They've really succeeded in in creating the right atmospear in the right places. When you're in a cave you can almost feel the humid air and when walking through the desert you feel lucky it's just a game.
The best part of Tibia is the comunity and you're forced to cooperate with others if you want to get to the top. You also learn alot about how to handle conflicts with others and it's really a good feeling when you managed to save your whole guild from a threatening enemy.[/url] Maplestory

I play a game called Bang! Howdy a bit. It's a sort of MMORPG/ turn based strategy game. It's a pretty unique game, and the community is alright. I usually stick to down loadable games such as soldat though.

very fun I didn't like Maple Story, if you think WoW is bad for needing to grind for everything, Maple Story was 100x worse. I only played it once for half an hour and when I realised that I would need to kill about 100 of the same monsters who could kill me in 2 hits just to get to level 3 I figured the game wasn't worth it.

Great online game with hundreds if not thousands of hours playing time. Drawback is its kind of expensive.

Online game that is about medieval times/magic. Fight monsters, battle dragons and build up your characters skills in more than just fighting. Its free to play and very cheep to become a member.

A 2d shooter game online that contains many different gameplay options and the ability to create your own maps and even game servers. Costs about $10 for a member account.
4.AOE (age of empires) www.microsoft.com/games/empires/
Medieval war game were you build up armies to crush the enemy army. Play against the computer or other people in this highly addicting and fun game. Only costs like $40 to buy.
5. SC (stronghold crusader) www.stronghold.heavengames.com/
Relatively the same as AOE (above) but much more realistic and has smaller armies. This game contains more options than age of empires but is a much more challenging game to learn to play. It is $20 or less to buy.

It's a neat little browser game that basically has you start a village and build an army to conquer other villages. It takes some time getting used to, but it's a pretty entertaining game to play on the side, since you have to wait to accumulate resources and stuff. www.stuntdirtbike.com is quite a good game. try and beat my record, 3 mins 10 seconds. for all the levels Thank you. Zero Online is has elements from Gundam, but it's only in (open) alpha. Because of that, every few days the server goes down to install the latest patch. And, of course, the game automaticly patches your client as well.
Also, it has an irritating graphical problem with Sony Vaio laptops.
Besides all that, the game is quite intresting, with some new things you don't see much in MMOs. And the PvP is awesome, with the winner stealing a random item from the defeated.

I discovered a little flash game few minutes ago by meebo. Normally you move the ball to the desired place but in this game you move background... very smart... Tribal Wars I think has a pretty poor idea of the subscription system: when you start out, buildings take about 3 minutes each, so you'd really want to pay in order to stack more than 2 build orders. However, once you've played a bit and have worked out whether it's worth paying for, you probably don't need a premium account because things cost that much and take that long

I agree: I signed up for the free trial, thought it was awsome, then realised that I couldn't really afford the subscription fee

It's a part of Itch.com Pretty cool free game. You can start anytime during a round, but it's better to start in the beginning of a round. The game is broken up into rounds that last for a month or two depending on the casual server or pro server. New round means starting over, everyone on the same playing field again.
The other day i found this cool and quick MMORPG its call endless online it has an anime look to it and its quite vast in my opinion, ok so im still a newbie to the MMO area. But stil i like this game's simplicity. http://endless-online.com
its a free and advert free game it does require a download but its only 15MB big! And its data usage is very tiny! Did anybody mention Breaking The Tower yet? It's very simple, but I find it enjoyable. It's Java instead of Flash, and you don't see that very often.

Runescape is playable in browser and it updated it's graphics just a little while back so it's a pretty good game.
Gunz is a first person shooter against other people. There are sometimes hackers/cheaters though who take advantage of anything they can find, The cheaters are impossible to kill and impossible to invade.

You need to choose 3 ninjas, like your opponent. The object is to kill all of them before he or she does it with yours
Every ninja has 3 different abilities, and the fourth is the same for everyone (to be invulnerable for a turn).
You get some chakra (energy) in a random colour every turn, depending on the your ninjas who are still alive, and you can use their skills from that chakras.
I like it, cause you need to be a good tactitian (and of course you need some luck too) to beat your opponent.
You can get higher rank when you win, but if you lost, your rank can be reduced too, so be careful!
There are missions, if you finish them, you are allowed to use new characters.

If you are the kinda person who ONLY likes 3d games, this is not for you. This game looks like Diablo 2 kind of.
