linux software can support other platform.

shashishankarkumar
when any software developed in what environment is supported only that environment normally.

but with the emulator software any software can run any platform.

however linux software is based on cross platform technique so because it can support any environment automatically.

when any particular exceptional software is not supported then it is required to install emulator firstly.

Actually, you are a semantically incorrect. Cross platform/open source software is usually implemented in many environments, including Linux, but the converse is not always true. Just because a piece of software runs on Linux does not mean it automatically will run on any platform. Linux has the advantage of being open source software so it shares a majority of the crowd that develops open source software.
