Walcott hattrick! Rooney MOM. What an amazing result after so much negativity from the fans and the press. Is this the start of a great england side or is this just a fluke result?
England beats Croatia 4-1
Yea good game that.
For me it was a big surprise to see that score. I thought the croatians will try to win again, but England was far better that night.
I think this time England will take the 1st place

I don't watch european qualifiers... they're kinda boring for me... but I can't believe how Englad won only 2 - 0 against Andorra and then they won 4 - 1 against Croatia...
With Capello I think they can perform consistently now. But when both Gerrard and Lampard are fit, I wonder who will Capello starts, or is he still trying to get them play together? All these years have shown that they can't be played alongside each other.
they are improving from game to game and I think that's all down to the coach. Capello has been a breath of fresh air for england. He started Walcott instead of Beckham and that proved to be a genius move. Hopefully they can continue this form.
That was a real revenge. But I'm a little bit disappointed, I thought that Croatia will play much better.
Even I was disappointed with Croatia's performance ....
England, on the other hand, were impressive ... I think that Capello should play the youngsters a bit more ...

It was expected, in past few years Croatia showed very bad teamplay from their side.

I think I would have to disagree with you there. I think Croatia have been pretty impressive as a unit with many young and developing players like Modric and Rakitic in recent times. So, I wouldn't say that such a strong win for England would be something expected.
Croatia is currently ranked 5th in the world so I won't say England are expected to beat them on their home turf.
Theo Walcott and his likes such as Cesc Fabregas, Nicklas Bendtner and Denilson all from Arsenal are the best youngsters in the EPL, You have already watched how impressive was Walcott in England v Croatia, Bendtner in Denmark v Portugal.
England won with the credit of Arsenal's Arsene Wneger, not with the credit of Fabio Capello.

lol, though i'm an Arsenal fan, i think your statement is just too bold. Walcott wouldn't be able to score hattrick alone, without the help of Rooney, Lampard, etc. Also the defense is solid enough to keep Croatia from scoring more than 1 goals. You have to give some credits to Capello for make the players gel into a team, as opposed to playing individually. And he knows how to deal with big games, unlike McLaren who failed when it mattered the most.

Oh, did you forgot how England lost in their home several months ago, where Capello presented bad squad against France. That match England could even equalize the Frank Ribery's penalty.[ England 0 - 1 France ].
McLaren created a friendly team, but he was loser. Capello spends large amount of his time watching Chelsea and Spurs games.
There are many talented English players he forgot to include in the squad as he failed to create a solid squad. Rooney, Lampard and Walcott were trained by Sir Alex, the Special One (who failed to remain special) and Arsene Wenger.
What a game Walcott had!
What gets me though isthat he didnt start the next game
Whats with that?
Im sure Capello has his reasons, maybe hes resting him?
