I am having yamaha 450 but i want to connect the keyboard to the amplifer, to that mono or stero is helpful whats the use in this
mono and stero which is useful to yamaha 450
If you're connecting to a standard amp, run mono. The amp will only have one channel anyway.
If you have a stereo amplifier, you could hook it up either way. Mono you'll get the same information going to all speakers. If you hook it up stereo, certain information will pan left and certain stuff right. I'm not sure how it is with that particular keyboard, but it could separate bass and treble, or perhaps patches; so if you're using a poly-voiced patch, one voice may play left while the other plays right.

thanks Ankhanu for the information, if i use one side with mono (connecting with amplifier) and other side with stero (connecting with keyboard) whether i will receive the stero ouput.
