What game is it?

I saw a game, and played a little and became a fan of it while in some supermarket. I don't remember its name but its of Fighter jets. I played it on X Box 360. I wish somebody would tell me its name and where can I get it. And also if PC version of it is available.
Another question, What is best to buy? Xbox or PS3? And is the game above compatible to both?
One good clue is that the planes were named 'Garuda 1', Garuda 2'.. (Garuda is the name of a bird and Lord Vishnu's bahan or vehicle). Another question, does anybody know why this name was chosen?

A quick search in a web search engine points to the game being Ace Combat 6 - Fires of Liberation. I don't have a 360, so I don't know for certain.
