Need free vector graphics program for animations

I need to make animated logos for my webpage but don't want to buy software. I need something like the adobe illustrator, need to make something like flas animations. I became aware of inkscape, but it don't allow to make animations.

So maybe I can make the graphiscs with inkscape and then to make animations with another software.

I need advice from someone who works on graphic design and know about free software.

I would appreciate very much your help.

Nobody answers me. Should I suppose that such a thing as free software to make flash animations don't exist? Help me please

I don't know if it's vector based (I don't really know what that means), but Blender allowes you to create animations. http://www.blender.org/
