The Effect Of Google Suggest On Our Traffic!!!

the-guide
I've noticed that Google added the "Google Suggest" feature
(that had been available in beta for a long time) to the main page.

Google Suggest adds suggestions to our search query while
we type it. For instance, if we type "mp3" in Google's search box,
then Google will suggest "mp3 players", "mp3 download",
"mp3 songs", "mp3 converter" and a many of other keywords.

This might seem like a little change however I think it can have
a crucial effect on the traffic that we get from Google.

People might search less for one or two word keywords, it's likely
that the surfer will choose one of these suggestions because they
describe more accurately what they are looking for.

Long-tail keywords that typically consists of 4-6 words are usually
very targeted and they often lead to conversions because people
who enter long-tail keywords always know what they're looking for.
As Google mainly suggests keywords that consist of up to 3 keywords,
the amount of long tail keywords might decrease.

AdWords prices for some keywords might go up and in increased
competition for those keywords.

How do you think about this change? Question

This certainly is going to bring some changes on the trends the keywords are functioning in bringing traffic to sites. It is bringing most search keywords into 3 words sets because of google suggestion tool. both cutting long keywords as well as expanding single word keyword. Now majority of keywords searched through google is going to be 3 word keyword.
