The how come english clubs dominated the champions league last year?

To be honest I find italian football dreadfully boring!

It did, some years ago. But now the quality is just not comparable to La Liga and EPL. You don't see many big names go to Serie A anymore, because it's not as attractive as the two above. The corruption and match fixing cases also tarnish the reputation of Serie A.

High technique? I can argue that players in Spanish club has comparable if not better technique.
Body balance ? you mean what it takes to do diving beautifully? Wink
Speed? EPL is much faster than Serie A. One of the best players in Serie A,Shevchenko, became useless in EPL because he's just too slow for the game.
intelligence? give some stats to prove it.

Honestly speaking, it's got to be the EPL. In my opinion even the Russian League is more exciting than the Serie A. It's all domination by Inter ... what's the fun ? The La Liga is quite exciting as well ...

no chance premiership is the best man, id say italy is the worst for entertainment man

It goes in cycles,in the 90's it was the Italian league,all the worlds best players ended up there,but now with all the TV money in england,all the top players end up here,the only other league to even come close is the Spanish league.

Attendances wise,the Italian league again is quite low in the pecking order.

Even Englands second tier league gets better yearly attendences than Serie A.

Italy have the worst stadiums in Europe,and the worst crowd trouble,its little wonder not many go to the games. The Italian league needs a complete overhaul,on a par with what happened to the English League in the early 90's.

The EPL and Championship both play more matches than their equivalent italian leagues in all fairness though...

Well, I also think Premiership is the best, although I find it boring as well as Serie A. The most spectacular football can be seen in French and Spanish leagues for sure.

There are 20 teams in both Serie A and the English Premier League,so they play the same number of matches.


(Total divided by 38 )
Weekly Average for Serie A = 231 800
Weekly Average for the English Premier league = 359 905

In the English Championship,they have 24 teams so yes they play more games and your right the Italian Serie A average is higher than the Championship ,which averages out over 46 games at 204 264.

Which isn't that short of the Italian average and considering its a second tier league,it runs it pretty close.

ich hasse die serie a.. i just don't like it.... the premier league is much more entertaining to watch in my opinion.

that and the fact that serie a games are harder to watch than epl where i'm from
