Does anyone know of a good translator that doesn't require grammatical perfection of the polish words? So many special characters in the polish language, and the text I need translated has none, just basic letters. Thanks.

I do not think that such a software exists:P When it comes to translate something into Polish the translation software has no chance not to make any mistake. It had to be intelligent , but for now there is nothing like this invented.
If it's transliterated (for example, as could be done in German: ü -> ue or ß -> ss) there is a chance that a translator could catch the distinction or you could manually replace these using a find and replace feature. If it's just not present, it's not going to work. Machines don't really do heuristics: they can't say "thät looks like that, good enough to assume these two words are the same".
