I think i have to agree with you rajupp
Skye001

DirectAdmin Running
Exim 4.62 Running
MySQL 5.0.22 Running
Named 9.3.3 *** Stopped ***
ProFTPd 1.3.0 Running
sshd Running
vm-Pop3d 1.1.7f-DA-2 Running
rajupp
ok, i managed to get hold of this link
http://www.bierkip.nl/frih/servers.php

so i was right, server 3 is down Sad
Skye001
just the DNS i can probably guess the way that php scripts get the info is by using server name not IP. The server is still up and running
Skye001
Okay seems the DNS issue is resolved I can now access my domain.
rajupp
DNS is still down mate...
i am still not able to access my website Shocked

Update: everything working now
thanks ... cheers!!

The problem was that a partition was full due to big logs. FreeBSD seems to store them on a small partition. This caused the dns service (named) to stop working causing visitors with a not-cached ip address of a domain name to not being able to access the domain/website.

In case you didn't know, this website is hosted on server 3 so the server couldn't be completely down. Wink

Also rajupp, your logs (almost 700MB) were part of the problem (together with the logs from frihost). I also noticed that you seem to have a problem with a redirection on your wordpress blog and this might have caused all those log entries.
rajupp
Thanks Bondings.
But are you sure I have 700MB of logs? Shocked
if so, how to clear them?
and yeah, I did have a problem with redirection Embarassed
was trying to use some damn plugin Rolling Eyes

The logs are not counted towards your quota and you shouldn't be able to directly access them. Maybe DA has a way to clear them. Anyway, I moved them myself to free the space. I assume you don't need it anymore? (I mean, can I remove them?)

@rebeltrooper indeed mysql isn't working on Server 2. Server 2 seems jealous about server 3 getting all attention today.
Bondings
Server 2 seems to be working fine again now.
