AMD Turion vs Intel Centrino

What do u guys think about the new AMD Turion 64 bit Mobile processors? I just saw it at Bestbuy and my buddy said that it apparently is like AMD version of centrino but 64 bit. Anyone know if this is true? and anyone have any experience with a turion? I'm perticulary interested in the battery life compared to centrino b/c I know that centrino's battery life is really good.

i think AMD Turion 64 bit Mobile processors is better than intel mobile CPU (only cpu not include their technology)
because AMD Turion 64 bit Mobile processors not have limit in mobile component

An to be more specific the Acer 5025 Notebook. Thinking about it myself to buy.And why would someone buy 32-Bit if he can get 64 for an equal price Question
