Who after Parvez Musharaf ?

Cddhesh
It was very hot day in Pakistan's politics today, General Mr Parvez Mushraf resigned. After September 2001 attack on USA , Pakistan was looked down as a friend for terrorism. Mushraf was in big trouble whether to support US or to support Afghanistan. But he showed himself as a friend of USA, and went against terrorists and took some physical actions against them.

Well, Biggest step of Mushraf to show that he is against terrorism was attack on Lal Masjid by Pakistan's army. After this incident terrorists went against him.Attempts were made to kill Mushraf. At one side there was a powerful Islamic group and at one side Powerful USA. Mushraf made himself to stand on both sides with his tricks.

His position was declared as most dangerous last year by some magazine. The most risky chair was his.
I think , He tried his best to keep both sides happy but then terrorists forced him to choose any one.
Well what he declared today is that, "Public of Pakistan is not happy with me so i am resigning".

As said earlier his position is very hot, Lets see who sits next on his chair !

I fear this may bring instability in Pakistan and the region, which is already pretty on the edge.

I hope strong, stable, democratic government can be maintained.

" democratic government " no way, first of all Pakistan is store house of terrorists.and people inside support them. After mushraf has resigned , there is at least one bomb blast per day which kills at least two people, There are big groups(religious plus political) which have good population, imagine!

Hope there will be peace in Pakistan soon, i really felt bad when i saw on TV situations everyday after blasts, so many innocent children injured, its really heart and mind blowing.

Store house of terrorists? People supporting them? How can they support these terrorists, who are killing innocent Pakistani citizens like anything? These daily bomb blasts started even before Musharaf resignation .... it has nothing to do with Musharaf resignation. Musharaf was not even an army chief anymore.

Pakistan is in a very big problem time right now I think. There will certainly be good people in the country but as the poltical, economical and security situations suggest, the system is unstable and the people in power and not sincere and honest. As in terms of natural resources, fertile lands and potential of skills in the peopl, geographical situation, everything is perfect for the country to grow. Only if a reforming approach is taken at every level and in every component of the system, changes can appear qhick but after all the troubles, Pakistan is still among the top 10 in corruption in the world.
