The only browser based mmorpg I know is runescape, and that one sucks.
You mean browser-based as text-based? (many people do that) If you do, then I don't know any 
But if you don't, try SherwoodDungeon . It's pretty nice after level 5.
But it gets booooring after 15-20 
. But maybe that's just me: I got bored at level 5 at SilkRoad.

Hah, runescape is the best browser based mmorpg, and even the best is boring. That says a lot about the other browser based mmorpg's

It gets repetitive after a while. but oh well... its amusing cuz you can easily get to number one on the chart xD but they also do resets so you lose your stats every so often.

browser games has alot of limitations, so you can hardly get a good one.
Runescape is fun while it lasted. so play it while it lasts rofl. (besides they just updated with better graphics, still sucks anyways)
other than that, neopets passes time, and some other minigames websites passes time for me as well.
honestly, browser games really doesn't have much resources it can work with, thus the little breakthrough there is. =S

fallensword had a run for my period of timing, but the best mmorpg is the one you make, mine has been in development in YEARS! plus l get lazy n take time off
