anyone else here play around in updown?

for anyone who's never heard of it, it is a stock market game where you are given $1,000,000 to start and you build up your portfolio, whether it be against the market or against your friends (if you manage to drag them into the game). the market prices are real time with 15 min of delay.

I've recently re-discovered the game after two months of inactivity to find out i lost $300,000. so... i've decided to make a new account. guess i should have sold all my stocks before i went MIA for two months.

I do strongly recommend this to anyone who's interested in stock trading whether as a practice or just for fun.

When I was in highschool I would make mock investments and track them like I owned them. The trick is to get out when you make a decent return, and not get greedy, or you almost always find the returns you could have had, slip away Sad
