Don't you think it's extraordinary how this forum works? LOTS of people talking about almost every possible topic, and still many posts don't look like a typical network chit-chat - you all construct full sentences, try them to look good, wise.
Do you think it's because of the hosting thingie? xD Or maybe, I just haven't been to any such site before. Quite amazing, it's actually nice, although probably a bit fake - most of you people don't care of dinosaurs (one of the topics xD) or most of these topics, so you have unusual opportunity to check if you're interested in them. 
Well since it's not instant like a chat-room, whatever you say is up for anyone to see permanently. It's more like public email, and not like chat where I, for one, don't care about sentence structure or proper grammar (tho i dnt spk liek dis).
It's how most intellectual forums (and forums in general) work. When constructing a post or reply, I try to give it a lot of thought and make it clear what I mean. The best way to do that is to write in good English so people don't have to struggle reading it and get lost. I tend to read over my posts once or twice after I'm finished as well to catch mistakes or faulty lines of thinking. 
I take my Internet discussion serious! It's as much a reflection on my intelligence/thinking/ideology as speaking in public. Frihost was hooked up to help both who do master the English and those who are just beginners. And by the way, Frihost is not hosting project only, but the forums can help every human being. If you love someone and need some advice from the Love Masters go the Relationships forum, If you are a coder and need some help from your PHP/MySQL and HTML/CSS/Javascript, there are forums laid for that. If you have a project and do need a designer, coder or something else, just do not hesitate to put the Frih$ in your pocket in the Market Place forum...
If you feel boring and need something to say stand on the General Chat and have your say, if your statements were bit funny, you'll get heaps of replays.
All in all, Frihost is RICH. 
I haven't thought about it before, but, yes, Frihost is a rich experience on thinking interchange.
Since I'm not english native speaker, I always have to check my posts twice before sumitting them. And I think most posters also take care of their speech in order to be understood. Also in general you find a more respectful deal than in other normal forums, despite technical forums, where there is usually. zero-tolerance to unpoliteness.
I think the reason this forum works so well is primarily that we have very very good mods that work hard to keep this place up and running smoothly and don't let people get away with idiot posts etc.
Because unlike a chat room, in a message board like this, I am given ample opportunity to post a logical and thoughtful response. I take the time to spell-check my posts and actually put forth an honest thought about what I am saying. The point thing doesn't have any influence in the "quality" of our posts here, after you get your hosting approved you can post a dozen topics a month with no point other then that enough that they are not spam and your grammar in them could be so poor that half the people don't even understand what you are trying to say, but you will keep your hosting just the same as the person that is posting a 500 word analogy of their view on the existence of God.

Indeed, but the fact remains that Frihost tends to look for quality of posts. So if anyone's going on posting gibberish posts, the mods will soon find them out. If they don't, well..that is what the 'Report' button is there for!
