I know that in quantum physics it is impossible to know everything about a particle, which means that there are combinations of things that cannot both be known about the same particle. In other words, the ability to know either thing about it is mutually exclusive from knowing the other thing about it.

Could anybody help me remember what exactly some of these pairs of measurements are? Or is there more than one combination that acts this way?

I know one of them is the combination of knowing exactly where it is, and exactly how fast (and in what direction?) it is moving... At least I think that's one of them...
