Admins help please, My domain wont work! (its my domain.)

Here I am again,
um... Bondings, you know how you changed my account for my request?
ok, I bought the domain www.freshynet.info.
You changed my domain to this right?
OK, I have changed my NameServers in my domain account to ns1.frihost.net and ns2.frihost.net.
I waited 2 days, but it still didn't work, so I asked my domain provider(registrar) if my domain is working correctly.
He said that it's the host company's problem. He said the domain was working fine.
I don't know what to do, Help me please...

Problem is you yourself. No one can help you. You need to show little bit patience.

I checked the request account change forum.

Admin replied to it Wed Sep 07, 2005 7:32 pm (and I wonder if you had your domain pointed to frihost and admin was able to add it at that time)

72 Hours? wasn't even 20 hours

All I'm saying is we cannot help you if you don't post facts and try to be smart. If you don't post rigt time how'd we know if its dns propogation problem or something else. You will NOT GET RIGHT SUGGESTIONS/SUPPORT IF YOU POST FALSE INFORMATION.

I can't reach it either. It probably still has to propagate a bit. The whois shows Frihost's nameservers, but maybe not all isp's are updated yet. Anyway, it should show up pretty quick.

Update, I found your problem, apparantly you deleted the public_html directory. And hence the server can't find it. Wink

Anyway, here you go and please don't delete it again.

I guess I was acting like a n00b....
I am very sorry sunny, I had very little patience.
I hope this wont lower my reputation here.....

I have another proble now, though...
It says
The installation can not be completed:

- You cannot install more than one script in the root directory of a domain.

I deleted all the other fantastico installations, deleted all the MYSQL stuff, but It seems thats not he problem...
pleas help??

You need to go to fantastico and uninstall it there. I think that's the problem. Fantastico doesn't allow two installs to be in the same directory for obvious reasons. If you don't uninstall it with fantastico, it will still think it is in there.

I can of course always give you a brand new account if everything you try to do fails. But that should be the last option, of course.

no, you dont need new account.. the folder in question that fantastico is trying to write over but cant cause its already there is the images folder in you root directory... delete the images folder and it will install (bondings, why dont you just leave out the images folder and leave that up to the user?)

I searched all the folders and files and there wasnt a images folder.
I remember deleteding it.
I think resetting it would be the best idea...

(P.S. Is there a reason my subdomains dont work too? i installed CubeCart at shop.freshynet.info , but it wont show. or do I have to wait?)

When you install a script using fantastic, a root install file is created in this directory.

/home/user/.fantasticodata


Now you will need to go to this directory and delete the install root file or could even be a whole directory of the script you installed. Just don't rush with it, take your time and you should be able to spot it. if you can't, tell us exactly what script you installed so i'll try to help with that.

Everytime you make a subdomain or add an domain it takes some time for the dns propogation to complete. How much? totally depends on your ISP and not on frihost.net.If its showing the sub domain in cpanel then you are fine just wait.
