Arrrrrghhhh....

...is the only way to describe my problem. I need to transfer a large, few-hundred-thousand row .txt document form one server to another. I try using cURL, but only about 6mb transfers of the 14mb file. What is the problem? Any work around? Any help would be great.

Thanks,

If it is a txt document, just gzip it. txt files reduce to around 10-20% of their original size after gzip. That will be around 1.5-3 MB, a lot less than 6 MB Smile

I think it's the script that times out or the max upload that causes the script to stop?

You could try to upload it to some other host, make chunks of it and then download it from there.

Okay. I think it is the script too.

KV: I can't gzip it. It is on another server that is NOT my own.

I think I will copy it to FreeHostia or whatever and then cut it up.

Thanks,
