Anyone ever played disc golf?

The first time I heard about disc golf I thought it was the dumbest "sport" I'd ever heard of - throwing a frisbee into a basket... what's the point? But when I heard a little more about it - different discs for different distances, discs that are meant to fade left/right, different throws for different trajectories... it caught my attention. I've been playing for about a year now, and it's a great sport - extremely cheap to play, easy for a beginner to catch onto, and the best part... you can bring a few beers with you while you play!

disc golf can be recreational or a seriously competitive sport. for the sport minded go to the link above. for the recreational player, go to walmart and get a whamo, and a 12 pack of your favorite beverage and enjoy!!

Just a random bit of info, if you are fortunate enough to live around the bowling green, kentucky area and haven't heard of disc golf, then you should be shot... i think they have something like 8 courses... I go to college there and have thoroughly enjoyed playing for the past few years.

ohh, this is new for me... first time i see this "thing"... But it seens good and i guess its difficult to get the target... better of all, you can play in crazy place, i think you dont need a grass field, it could be played into a build, why not...
I would like to try this someday...
