Who can give links to download some green software?
Why do you need green software?
Just turn off your computer when your not using it. Unless you got the new device"Magic Jack" voice over IP phone service or something similar that requires the computer to be running then there pretty much got no use for green software since energy use is used up by the PC/computer being turned on and not off or in hibernation state. One thing you could do is turn off your monitor, that will be going green as well.
I myself turn my PC off at 10PM EST every night if I am not going to use it the rest of the night and turn it on at 5AM when I get up. I also turn the monitor off when not using it.
