Introduction:
Many people in our world will call themselves vampires but are not completely sure of what they are calling themselves. In this article you will discover that vampires are real in human sense and that this is no attempt to make you believe in the old fantasy stories!
Theory:
Judging by the stories that you have heard you would normally assume a vampire to have a "dark" figure to them with long fangs that gain energy by sucking blood. Also these creatures are not developed enough to stalk the day so they must avoid the sun at all cost making them have to run about during the night.
These stories, as entertaining as they are, were just fictional stories told to children so they would not venture out during the night. Also only half, if not less, of these stories are actually true and herein this article will explain why.
Meaning:
Vampires are meant to suck blood and gain energy from such. It should be known that hardly no one anymore will actually suck blood for energy and is considered an obsolete hobby (if such has ever existed). In sense you would gain energy from drinking blood, just as you would gain energy from eating food for nurition.
The reason why vampires can live amongst us is because most of their acts are not illegal in society. Remember that to be a vampire you must have some sort of "drive" from something that can keep you alive. Human's first vampyric instinct is: sex, making many vampires fit among the inccubi (male) and succubi (female). They get energy by seducing the opposite sex and "draining" them of their sexual energy.
Do Vampires Stalk the Night?
Some do, only because they find their victims easier to seduce. Most, however, realize that their nature is severely evolved that they do not burn up at the sight of the sun! More victims are out during the sunlight anyways and makes it a perfect habitat for vampires to prey on! If people were so scared of vampires in the past, then now they should be scared to even leave their houses during the light of day!
Conclusion:
Vampires, that is if you give them the proper label, are only people or animals that gain energy (and in most cases need to gain energy). Do not think of the misconceptions set among society to scare and entertain, but rather think of the true meaning. All humans have vampyric instincts inside them, depending on the human depends on the instinct and what they prey on.
Wrap-up:
1. No vampires suck blood anymore, it became a bore
2. First vampyric instinct is: sex, making most vampires inccubi or succubi.
3. As long as you have something that you need to keep yourself alive, or sane, you are considered a vampire.
4. You do not have to wear "black" to be a vampire, most vampires avoid it, but there is also nothing wrong with wearing it either.
5. Vampires do not burn up in the sun...
Ideally sucking blood doesnt help in any ways. Blood is a substance that contains just water and a substance termed as plazma which is not digestible by any large size organism.
Howvere Drinking blood can be pursued as a hobby.
Something seems seriously flawed here, but I can't quite place it. Anyhow....
A vampire isn't just what you say it is. Some people really do believe in blood-sucking vampires.
However, there is more than one definition for vampire.
1. a preternatural being, commonly believed to be a reanimated corpse, that is said to suck the blood of sleeping persons at night.
2. (in Eastern European folklore) a corpse, animated by an undeparted soul or demon, that periodically leaves the grave and disturbs the living, until it is exhumed and impaled or burned.
3. a person who preys ruthlessly upon others; extortionist.
4. a woman who unscrupulously exploits, ruins, or degrades the men she seduces.
5. an actress noted for her roles as an unscrupulous seductress: the vampires of the silent movies.
6. A vampire bat

Yes, there is a hole in your explanation.
I do think it is rather odd.
Would you please explain the hole if you know where it's at. Unfortunately, I can't see past the stitches they've made with their excessive use of irrelevent words.
I'm a vampire in a past life
Up all night, sleep all day!

(I fail to see any 'logical explanation of existence' so far in this thread. Here's a reasonable reference);

Ahh...that explains it. I'm a science-type nerd. My buck-teeth mean that I can't bite the virgins properly, my glasses get in the way when I try to turn into a bat, my cape keeps getting tangled up with my physics books, and the other vampires laugh at my microscope.

I like to sleep during the day and stay up at night, but that doesn't make me a vampire....
Really depends on why you sleep all day, and remain awake at night, and which definition applies to you. Do you think you you really are/were a blood-sucking vampire, or are you an extortionist?

Geez, Must you take all the fun out of it. lmao.....
Reason ,I'm up all night is because of the hours , I used to work. Daddy pays for everything now because he's so dead set on me not going back to my bad ways. lol, But , honestly I'm about too. lol.. Chit ,you can't survive with the gas prices these days. lol

Yes, I must!

The origins of the vampire myth are supposedly linked to a medical condition known as anemia. It has many different forms and symptoms one of which is an iron deficiency in the blood. In some cases especially prior to the understanding of what anemia was some patients were sooo deficient in iron they craved and attempted to digest many wierd things including paper, dirt, and in some cases even blood. In addition to the overwhelming cravings some of the side effects of severe anemia are demensia, hallucinations, paranoia, schizophrenia and other physical side effects like pale skin, upward curvature of the nails, bruises under the skin, a black line across the gums. The old pictures I have seen of people with this condition could easily be mistaken for vampires, even down to the oddly shaped teeth, malformed and many of them missing due to poor nutrition.
I don't want to shoot anyone's dreams of one day being a vampire, but this sounds alot more logical to me then a hidden race of supernatural blood sucking monsters that burst into flames when they are exposed to the sun.

I consider myself I vampire.
I stay up until 5-6 AM playing video games, and wake up at around 7 PM... Lol... XD Nah I ain't a vampire, I'm what modern science calls a game addict.
If it's a definition of being vampire, so i guess i'm one of them either
Lol, people call themselves Vampires because of what they do...
Vampires originated out of myth and myth is by fact nothing that can be proven, so why the hell would you try to prove the existence of vampires.
There are several creatures who are very similar to the vampire stories we hear ( bats etc. ) but no one human... If you say you're a vampire JUST because you live during the night and sleep during the day you're not... You're just weird.
If you say you are a vampire because you drink blood, you're just sick, but still a human!
Ehrm, ok. Vampires can drink blood, but don't have to. Vampires can stay up all night, but don't have to. Vampires can stay out in the sun but don't have to.
What is then a vampire and what's the difference between a vampire and a human? Could you please define vampire?

Agreed! Here are your points...
1. "No vampires suck blood anymore" - how convenient that the strongest character trait that defined original vampires now seems to be redundant.
2. "First vampyric instinct is: sex, making most vampires inccubi or succubi." - Either Male of Female?? You really narrowed that down there, its either 2 out of the 2 available genders.
3. "you need to keep yourself alive, or sane, you are considered a vampire. " - We all need air, water and food to keep us both alive and sane, that sure does make us vampires! damn those vampire urges!
4. ". You do not have to wear "black" to be a vampire, most vampires avoid it, but there is also nothing wrong with wearing it either." well now another strong characteristic of vampires also seems to be their ability to select their own colour of clothing!
5. "vampires do not burn up in the sun." Well thank goodness for that, seeing as how we are ALL vampires according to what you have stated here.
You have tried to define a species, but in attempting to do so, you have generalized them into being every living person and thing in the entire world
I don't think vampires can actually have sexual relations, 'cause it demands blood.
I also believe that vampires can normally walk by the sunlight, but not for too many hours. They should wear white clothes so it would reflect the sunlight.

Maybe they can't walk in the sunlight too long cause they wear black clothes (three sets of them at the same time o.O). It gets hot and they die! =D
My purpose of this thread was only to state some parts of a certain logical theory. An attempt to make the fantasy of "vampire" a real thing by converting fantasy aspects into real life aspects. And by doing so I voided the fantasy dogma or that fantasy feeling that everyone expects when they think about the word "vampire". That's the hole which is the current problem, and there is a choice to be made concerning with beliefs in vampires. You can either believe in a fantasy and admit it, or try to make something more realistic. i left this topic open for discussion to see how many people would reply by adding fantasy into their posts and as expected many people did. i was very disapointed in that. I wanted people to add more logical thinking to such but it's impossible to rid of fantasy in a topic.
ALL THIS TOPIC WAS WAS A FAILED EXPERIMENT...
Well you got some replies at least... That they weren't what you expected, leaves as much consideration to you, as to the people who answered. But a nice idea you've got here...
I'll - to pour some extra salt into the wound - carry on with some excoursal nonsense.
One of the new ideas of how come the human mind conjure forth beings like vampires, werewolfs and whatnot is, amongst others, promoted by a branch labelled literary-darwinism. According to their theory, every narration spiced up with anthropomorphical beings, awakes in us a primal fear or rather awareness for carnivores and such. Thereby going against fx. Freudian thoughts (of fangs symbolizing penises etc. etc.), and instead those stories merely use instincts that are already embedded in our cognitive structure.
this is so borrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrring
you guys are wasting your time trying to explain the nature of vampires or nos feratu
Dracula actually did exist and he empailed his victims alive on spears and some say he drank their blood
also the first 'vampire' or damed soul was 'kane' the first Murderer in the bible (try read it some time)
as for vampires alive today
there are some people that actually form gangs and go about drinking each others blood - lets here it for HIV increases.
as for blood not been digestible, how the frek do vampire bats survive then? they have to drink the blood of other mamals (and yes, in theory they can drink human blood too) because their blood weakens over time and eventually 'dies'.
anyhow.
bye for now
and see you in the dark
oh, yes, some vampire can live during the day in sunlight but are extremely weakend. new vampires shun the light not because it hurts them or burns them, but because it can blind them as their new 'eyes' can see well - very well in the dark and can see the blood beating in a humans veins - they cant really see well during the day. older vampires have managed to over come this, but are still weakened.

Source, please.
all of you should watch discovery channels which details the finding on this vampires, which is absurb and crazy
only those who have sub zero IQ would think this is plausible
