I've always wondered what the difference between mp4 and mp3 actually is. The only thing that I actually know, is that mp4 is used for videos, and mp3 is used for audio, but besides that..I'm in the dark.
mp4 is the new version of mp3, better audio quality, used mainly by Apple
but isn't this post spam?
mp4 is excellent video and audio quality. The size of their vids are like 400 mb for a normal 700mb film. And with impressive sound and audio quality.
I took MP4 to be Audio and Video + DRM
MP3 is just audio.
That said I do have an Ipod with an extensive iTunes library (50Gb + of Music alone). I have yet to find a suitable converter (I dont feel safe with iTunes backup).
And yes, the first post was spam!
Thanks dude! I was looking for a good burner program! you just made my day!
Only free trial? You havenot full version?
Thanks a lot for telling us the software, though it a free trial one.
It does seem like spam...
Anyways just use Audacity, it does the job and its free and open-source!
mp4 is better? why are most cd's still using mp3 format. I don't understand.
u tube recommends MP4.
Does Audacity convert to mp4???
Nope. It's a licensing issue. Similarly, some linux distros (Fedora, etc.) don't ship with codecs for proprietary formats either, although you can get them.
