I have networked two computers together. One has Broadband internet connection. How can I share this with the other computer. they can share files

This can be done very easily using proxy softwares.
If you would like to share among two - three computers only, you can do it free with a software utility called CCProxy.
You can download it from:
Install it on the machine where you have the broadband connection available. And, on the rest of machines in connection properties in lan settings give the local ip of the source machine with the port used.
Typically, if you are using the default configuration the port will be 808.
For eg: Machine A - IP 192.168.0.1
Machine B - IP 192.168.0.2
In machine B's Internet connection properties change the lan proxy settings to 192.168.0.1:808
Also, you can decide the bandwidth allocated to machine B.
The major concern here is the security, if you have connected both the pc's with wire that's fine, but it WiFi is used in CCProxy make sure that you share connection with authentication.
