This would clean up the marketplace alot but your making more of a TRUST aka a Molonopy this is a MARKET and so it should behave like one where the consumer regulates your price. Stop being greedy its not like your making any REAL money or trading in your Fri$ for some thing. there are 2 kinds of monopolies:
1) uncompetitive, like electricity, no chancee of anyone competing, too hard
2) competitive monopoly, like this, it's easy to set up a competing buisiness, and we'll fight you off,
but that's not the point, this is a trade union, are you anti unions?

Sigs per month: maybe 5 or less. My shop is having tons of requests already, and I'm pretty busyy with school, so I'll try to make at least that much (and more if I have the time).

and I already changed my shop's topic name to have "SMU" in it, 'kay? I'll go edit my signature now to have the link to SMU in it. Um, hi, I take it I was accpeted from your PM so could I be added?

I can make about One a week of any size but my specialty is 88x31px
I have the Works in software Fireworks, Freehand, and Paintshop Elements.
I charge form 5Fri$ to about 40Fri$ dependening on the size of the work and how vauge, and or irritating the customer.
Im sorry for my outlash earilier I had to research the nature of the Marketplace more. My Ingnorace.
I'm thinking about applying, I need time before I actually set up anything though. I need a few days due to personal reasons, but I'll let you know.

I decided that when I am ready, I will just go solo. My prices will be higher than the SMU, probably double or triple the going rate of your prices. This is so I get fewer requests and can spend more time per customer.
It will probably be a few days before I'm ready, but I'll make a new post. I do not wish any harm towards the SMU and its members. Also me setting my prices higher is an attempt to safeguard the SMU and keep most of its customers.
