There was definitely some personal dislikes of the ending to me because I felt it could better. There were a series of loose ends that did not get tied at the end. Truthfully, CLAMP could have gone many many directions with the series, making it more poignant and philosophical, but CLAMP isn't the type of company to produce that type of anime. I thought it seemed slightly rushed to produce the ending. I suggest you read the manga as it is more fleshed out and better explains Chi and the other persocoms.
