Windows date

Jean-Luc
Hi,

The DOS/Windows "date" command returns results in different formats depending on the location of the user. A French version of Windows will show the date in the "French" format and a US version will format the date according to US standards.

Is there any way to force the use of the US format in the "date" command ? I need to use the date within a batch file (.bat) and a unique date format would make things much easier.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I think it isn't possible. But Yoo can check country code (but I don't know how) and parse date depending on that information.

Thanks a lot. I think that you pointed me in the right direction. I still have to look at it in more details, but I believe that the solution is here: http://www.ss64.com/ntsyntax/getdate.html .
