ur fav game.........
u have choose two game
above frm u
1)Foot Ball
2)Cricket
you want people to choose THEIR favourite then you give them 2 options?
i like both equal, but when i talk about football, i talk about Australian Rules Football not Soccer which i find very boring
1) football (the original)
btw: I've seen some Australian Football... it's pretty cool. But I was wondering why they call it football? most of the game they hold it with the hand. Same thing with American Football.

Because the main way of moving the ball in australian football is by kicking it? Its nothing like American Football
Cud have made a poll it u werent lazy....
Yeah, a poll would have been cool. But I like Cricket. I do keep myself updated with the soccer news, but not like watching it, because when I watch a sport, I expect a result off it, and lots of soccer matches ends with a draw. Yes, you get ties/draws in Cricket too, but not often, and when there are, they are exciting and nail-biting! Also I like a sport where you can breath in between, and Cricket is that one sport. =)
Football ftw
hmmm my fav game to watch is cricket but i love playing football..... thats a very neutral answer i suppose, so to select one of them i will select cricket.
Cricket!!!!!!!
to be honest football is much more exciting, but hell yeah cricket rules
the good lord created the seasons so REAL men could enjoy both, ofcourse!
Cricket in summer (test matches though, not all that Mickey Mouse nonsense with players in silly pyjamas
)....and football in autumn/winter/spring.
Pure, unadulterated perfection !
I prefer Cricket. Not into football. Everyone in my country seems crazy about cricket.
Its got to be football. I just cant get cricket.
Cricket, definitely! I love it!
If Football means soccer than it is in many ways the most interesting game. Cricket is also good but takes a lot of time. May be 20-20 cricket is going to be an interesting option.
I have played both of sports. I have played cricket for almost the whole of my life as its popular at our place. But when compared with football in terms of the involvment and physical excercise of the individual player, football is much superior than cricket.
As for watching both sports are totally different. The one day and test formats of cricker can't be compared with football. But now the 20-20 format of crikcet is making its mark in the short duration sports and is becoming popular and might be the future of cricket.
I'm from the US and have only watched cricket on tv and have never played it, but it is still pretty entertaining to watch, if I can find it on anywhere... BUT in my opinion, football is still better to watch.. people the world over just seem to be so much more into footy than cricket.
random question pertaining to you cricket players... have any of you ever tried playing baseball? if so, how did it go?
thanks

I played Rounders (a sort of slower, poor-man's version of Baseball) loads as a kid....I was always the big hitter & loved that aspect of it. Maybe the hand/eye co-ordination from my cricket came into play & helped me take to the game more than others.
Baseball?
I've never really understood the finer aspects of the scoring, and being English, with no affinity to the teams involved, find it hard to get into when it's on Sattelite TV here.
Millions of people the world over can't be wrong though about it being a good game.
Like a good test match
Australia v england or South Africa versus England
Im welsh myself but still good to watch.
For Me Foot Ball It Is Much cool Than Cricet But I Haven;t Tried cricet

I played a lot of baseball as a kid and young teen, and was a pretty handy pitcher untill i stuffed my shoulder up
can still bowl in cricket but cant pitch (Different tendon i spose?)
still like cricket a lot more than baseball
If it's a choice between Cricket and Soccer, then Soccer definitely.
If it's a choice between Cricket and Football, then Cricket (Football's too physical for me ...
)
As you mention cricket, I assume you mean Association Football (Soccer)
Of those two, football any day of the week. Cricket is boring. Don't mind one day, but the only time I ever watch cricket is when the Ashes are in England, its a Saturday afternoon, and I fancy a kip
PLAYING
1. Snooker
2. Football
3. Pool
4. Tennis
5. Darts (i'm rubbish LOL)
WATCHING
1. Football
2. Snooker
3. Rugby
4. Tennis
5. Athletics
Oh my god...
I dont want to start a massive argument (well I do really) but cricket shouldnt even be a sport. How much physical activity is there in a game of cricket? Its more like a hobbie, like stamp collecting or making model railways, (just as interesting as well).
Football. No question (in case you didnt get the hint from that^ lol)
Cricket all the way

Oh my god, are you serious?
If cricket shouldnt be a sport then what about Golf, Baseball, Softball....try PLAYING the game before making idiotic comments like that hey?
Yeah I'm no fan of cricket, but I wouldn't say it's not a sport. It's as much a sport as any other.
Chess, now that's not a sport in my mind, it's a board game
Maybe I should start the WLA - World Ludo Association and appoint myself as president.
Football hands down. I used to love cricket. Now I just don't have enough time to stay through the game.
I think that it is not a very fair choice.
Football is played almost everywhere in the planet.
Cricket even if it is very popular in countries with many inhabitants like India and Pakistan, it is still what I would call a sport that is not fully international. If you remove the ex British colonies, the Commonwealth countries who plays cricket? Few countries only.
Probably 2/3 or 3/4 of the world population don't even know the rules of cricket.
I would prefer football over cricket though I like to play both.
Uuuuuu Football of course
